If existent, it is called the “unique” teaching when a Buddha appears in the world. These also arose from the bodhisattva vow of the past. Thus, it was proclaimed with many special qualities. Chapter 2 [Explanation of the Three Treasures of the Teaching]: Coinciding with that time, the three Kayas (bodies) as treasures of the teaching, Are the self-arisen Vajra, Scripture, and Image. Whoever among beings, by seeing, hearing, or touching, Possesses the enlightened activity of liberating the bound within their own state. Wherever suitable to be subdued, it transfers place and now resides in this pure land. These emanations, coinciding with the great treasures of the three Kayas' teachings, appeared spontaneously as emanations of body, speech, and mind, acting for the benefit of beings. That is: in this Jambudvipa continent, the actual Dharma-Kaya (Body of Truth) teaching, spontaneously arose from the blessings of Dzogchen (Great Perfection), manifesting as a vajra filling the hand, formed from one hundred and eight precious jewels; the actual Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body) teaching of perfect enjoyment, spontaneously arose from the blessings of the self-arisen “Only Son” teaching (Bu gcig pa'i bstan pa), manifesting as a four-finger-high scripture, formed from one hundred and one precious jewels, emanating the natural sound of Dharmata (Reality); and the Nirmanakaya (Emanation Body) teaching, spontaneously arose from the blessings of the twelve Nirmanakaya teachers, manifesting as an image of the Buddha, formed from one hundred and one precious jewels, equal in size to the bodies of beings. These three, being uncompounded, are without birth or cessation, and having spontaneously arisen from blessings, possess immeasurable miraculous powers and qualities. They are the supports for increasing the body, speech, and mind teachings of the Nirmanakaya Buddhas who have appeared and will appear in the world realm. By seeing, hearing, or touching them, they embody the enlightened activity of causing those who are bound to naturally dissolve (self-liberate). Thus, these three treasures, by the Clear Light Vajra Pinnacle, transfer to whichever place where sentient beings needing to be subdued appear, and therefore presently reside in this pure land. In the future, when they transfer to other pure lands, the Dzogchen teaching will no longer appear in this pure land. Moreover, when this realm first formed, the three treasures of the teaching resided in the northern pure land called “Immovable Possessor” (g.yo ba ldan). When the teacher, the Supreme Luminous Youth (khye'u snang ba dam pa), appeared in this pure land, the three treasures transferred to this pure land, subduing beings through the teachings of body, speech, and mind, and due to the power of the opportune time, resided in various distinct locations. During the time of the Body-teaching, the vajra is in ཨ (ཨ, अ, A, root sound, essence)

Residing on an island in the land of Oddiyana, emitting light and sound, and manifesting countless emanations of monks endowed with miraculous powers (87n). During the period of the teaching of speech, in the Vajra place (Vajrasana/Bodhgaya) on the arm of Mount Malaya, the kings of Yakshas pay homage. During the period of the teaching of mind, it resides in the sky above the Vajra Seat (Vajrasana). As for the scriptures, during the period of the teaching of body, they reside in the sky five hundred yojanas high above the Vajra Seat (Vajrasana), held by the Dakinis. During the period of the teaching of speech, it resides together with the Vajra form itself. During the period of the teaching of mind, it resides in the cave of the exceedingly wrathful Rishis. As for the form, during the period of the teaching of body, by its own blessings, it resides together with the actual body, emanations, and re-emanations, and they truly enjoy the mandala of the face. During the period of the teaching of speech, it wanders throughout the entire Jambudvipa without a fixed abode, becoming a place of worship for all special gatherings of gods and humans; and when harm arises to the teaching, light emanates from its body, from its mouth **(ཧཱུྃ།, हूम, HŪṂ, seed syllable of Vajra family)** emerges, and from its eyes, the fire of primordial wisdom emerges. In the teaching that tames with mind, in the immeasurable palace of the thirty-three gods, on the topmost floor of Vajrapani's storied palace, homage is paid by one called the Great Glorious One, whose nature is equanimity, and it resides as the master of an ocean of miraculous manifestations. Furthermore, from the time of immeasurable lifespan until the time when life reaches a thousand years, is the teaching that tames with body; there are three periods, each of five thousand five hundred years. Then, until the lifespan reaches seventy years, is the teaching that tames with speech; there is one period of five thousand five hundred years. Then, until the lifespan reaches ten years, is the teaching that tames with mind; there is one period of five thousand five hundred years. These lifespans are the number of years during which those teachings tame, and are not the general duration of time (87b). Here, after the ten-year lifespan has passed, three born ones (sages) will successively arise: in the south, "Beautifully Arranged" (Mzed ldan bkod pa); in the north, "Savior of Rising" (Langs pa skyob); and in the west, "Melody of the Ushnisha" (gTsug phud dbyangs). And for all of them, there are seven periods of appearance. (Incomplete).
