All appearances arise from the presence of appearance in body and mind, and this arises from the presence of Rigpa (awareness/cognition). Just as Devadatta has a head and thus a face, and having a face, an image appears in a mirror. These are also stated in the `All-Creating Tantra` (Kun Jed Gyalpo): Whatever appears, that is my essence; Whatever arises, that is my essence. All phenomena apart from me, Are not included here within appearing and existing. And: In the `Jewel Ornament` (Norbu Tradkod), it is said: For example, like a face and a mirror, Whatever appears, it appears as such therein. 4. Furthermore, an elaboration on the abode of wisdom and the manner of reversing confusion: Rigpa, based in the three immeasurable palaces within the heart center, From the excellent bindu (thigle) at the four luminous gates, The gate for outward manifestation is the two eyes. With objects and vital points coalescing, reversing confusion, One effortlessly reaches the primordial ground of liberation. The nature of Buddhahood or Rigpa wisdom, by the blessing of its abiding in connection with the delusive, gross body, the manner in which the luminosity of wisdom arises is also thus: its actual dwelling place is in the center of the precious, glorious chest-receptacle (or auspicious treasure chest) of the heart. Its radiance (or resonance) abides in the conch-house-like (or bone-cave-like) blazing Bhāñja (vajra-like) immeasurable palace, and in the immeasurable palace of the seeing eyes, and in the immeasurable palace of the circulating channels. In the `Unison Tantra` (Thal Gyur), it is said: (page 59 verso) In the precious citta (heart-mind) immeasurable palace, The eight-angled gate where jewels gather. Five wisdoms and five bodies, The energies of wind (prana) and consciousness are also five. Everything is of the nature of five-fives. And: Within the head and the citta (heart-mind) channels, The unconditioned pure Dharma-nature abides. And so forth, it is extensively taught. Its essence abides as the Kāya (body/form), like the body of a vase; its nature abides as light, like a lamp inside a vase; its compassion abides as rays of light, like the rays of the sun. From the luminosity of the heart, four doors branch out, which are the four channels: the Ka-ti golden great channel serves as the support for the appearance of luminosity. The white silk thread channel serves as the support for entering external objects. The subtle coiled channel serves as the support for its own manifestation. The crystal tube channel serves as the support for its own appearance. The `Self-Liberated Emptiness` (Tongpa Rangdrol) penetrates the Brahma aperture (brahmarandhra), serving as the support for the continuous flow of the body, and together with...

Below are the five inner channels, which are the lights of the five wisdoms. By taking inherent nature as the basis, it manifests the development of the four lamps. From the four channels of light, the pure clear light bindus flow, and relying on this, clear light is meditated upon: Moreover, in the great golden channel of Kati, the excellent foundational bindu abides, possessing the nature of essence, nature, and compassion, relying on the heart. In the white silken thread-like channel, the excellent path bindu, together with the four lamps, is the water lamp, located on the right. In the subtle and entwined channel, the excellent summit bindu manifests various experiences of progressing realization, located on the left. In the crystal tube-like channel, the basis for the fully matured vision abides as the manifestation ground of inner clear wisdom. In self-liberated emptiness, the body of Vajra Rainbow Light (Dorje Lugu Gyud) abides. The gate through which the manifestation of wisdom clearly appears externally is the two eyes. Specifically, from the right eye, the "far-reaching lasso fire lamp" and the "self-arising wisdom lamp," two lamps, appear as the nature of wisdom (knowing all phenomena) and skillful means (manifestation). From the left eye (59b), the "empty bindu lamp" and the "completely pure sphere lamp," two lamps, appear as the nature of wisdom (knowing reality as it is) and prajna (emptiness). From the central Brahma aperture, the body of non-conceptual Rigpa appears as stacked rainbow light drops (bindus). For these reasons, by relying on external and internal objects, and by perfecting the posture, gaze, and vital winds, and making the yoga of clear light a path, deluded appearances are reversed, and one effortlessly reaches and is liberated into the precious secret core of primordial purity (Kadag) and original liberation, which arises from the natural state of dharmata. This is the section expounding the causes and conditions for the accomplishment of samsara. This is the commentary on the fourth chapter, expounding the causes and conditions for the accomplishment of samsara. From "The Treasury of Precious Scriptures, a Compendium of All Approaches to the Vehicles, a Treatise Clearly Expounding the Three Trainings, called Kunjed Gyalpo (All-Pervading Knowledge/Omniscient One)," concerning the progressive classification of the world of sentient beings (dul shing) and the contained (snod bcud), the commentary on the first section is completed. Second Section: Progressive Classification of the Manner in which the Tamer (Teacher) Appeared. First: The section on how the Teacher himself previously traversed the path to enlightenment. Thus, the world of sentient beings and the contained
