The two Dolpopas extensively clarified the principles of the outer, inner, and other three types of Kalachakra. Buton composed the treatise "Astronomical Calculation: Delight of Scholars" (rTsis kyi bstan bcos mkhas pa dga' byed) with its branches. Dolpo composed the "Mother and Son" practices of the Five Compilations. In particular, the Second Buddha, Rangjung Dorje, for the sake of easy understanding, explained the words of the "Condensed Tantra, Chapter on the World Realm" (bSdus rgyud 'jig rten khams le'i) by relying on their meaning, into seven-syllable verses. He also supplemented some necessary astrological knowledge not prohibited by the tantra, and composed the text called "Compendium of Astrology" (rTsis kun bsdus pa). These are the beginnings of Tibetan astrological treatises. Phugpa Jangdag and others clarified their own traditions. Later, the Phug and Tsur established astrological traditions split into two. Phugpa Lhundrup Gyatsho composed "Oral Instructions of the White Lotus, Mother and Son" (Pad dkar zhal lung ma bu). Through propagation by Samgyalwa and others, it became known as the Phug tradition (Phuglug). Jangpa Rigden Chenpo also meticulously analyzed the principles of the Kalachakra based on his own intelligence and ingenuity, and effectively clarified the tradition. Tsurphu Jamgyang Chenpo Dondrub Özer followed Rangjung Gyalwa and composed a great system of astrological treatises. Phrinlaspa Phyoglas Namgyal and Pal Tsuklak Trengwa wrote extensive commentaries on the "Compendium of Astrology" (rTsis bsdus), thus becoming known as the Tsur tradition (Tshurlug) (219b). From the continuation of these traditions, later Desi Sangye Gyatsho composed "White Beryl" (Bai dkar), Minling Lochen Dharma Shri composed "Sunlight" (Nying byed snang ba), and others, forming the Phug tradition of established astrology (Phuglug Grub rTsis). From Jetsün Wön Khenpo Ngelek Tendzin's composition of "Vessel of Necessities" (Nyer mkho bum bzang) and others, the Tsur tradition of established astrology (Tshurlug Grub rTsis) was formed, thus splitting into two distinct systems. 2. The second part [Victorious in Battle] is: The Yulgyal Tantra (gYul rgyal rgyud), a dialogue between Ishvara and Uma. Translated by Globo, and commented on by Phugpa and others. The Blessed One (Bhagavan), for the sake of those who delight in the external worldly lords, manifested in the form of the great lord Ishvara (Wangchuk). In ancient times, when devas and asuras were fighting, he spoke in response to the Lord of Devas. Later, it was again taught in the form of a dialogue with the Mother Uma, this Glorious Tantra of Complete Victory in Battle (dPal gYul las rnam par rgyal ba'i rgyud) was first propagated in the human realm by Karma Siddha Utpala. In Tibet, it was translated by Pandita Jayānanda from Dzumlang and Lotsawa Globo Sherab Rinchen. Furthermore, there is "Clarifying Hidden Instructions" (Man ngag sbas pa gsal byed). Ri.

Nachen Gyatsho and others also appeared. The first Tibetan commentary on this tantra was 'Supreme Joy' by Phugpa Lhundrub Gyatsho. His lineal descendant, the student of Palgon Thinley Pa, Dusrampa Chimed Dewa, composed 'Garland of Practice' or 'Hundred Rays of Light'. Padkar Yishin Wangpo composed 'Wonderful Jewel Lamp'. Buton Yonten Lodro, from Buton's tradition, compiled the root and commentary of 'Condensed Essence'. Although many such documents emerged, the key points of the oral instructions were largely hidden from the beginning, leading most to stray into the path of fabricated intellect. Nowadays, in Tibet, only the name remains, while among the outsiders (non-Buddhists) of India and Nepal, the oral instructions appear to be much more prevalent. 3. The third part, [Elemental Astrology]: Elemental Astrology, by Emperor Huangdi (Hungdhi Gyalpo), observing the tortoise, Thus originated, fostering many later developments. Though Khampa Tra, Dawa Khyung and others (220na) established traditions, Early translations were greatly flawed; Later, after the Omniscient Ones, many reliable new Chinese astrological translations appeared. The origin of what is known as Elemental Astrology (Jyong-tsi) or Black Astrology (Nag-tsi) is China. Initially, among the emperors, King Spahu Hashidhi, upon observing a golden-colored tortoise offered by subjects from the edge of the ocean, conceived for the first time the symbols of the Eight Trigrams (Par-kha Gyä). Based on this, he created the calculations of the Eight Trigrams, Nine Palaces, and Zodiacal cycle. Building upon this, emanated kings, ministers, and learned individuals successively developed it. In particular, Kongpuzi, an emanation of Manjushri, known in Tibet as Kongtse Thrulgyal (Confucius), also established countless systems of astrology and divination texts (to-jung). Subsequently, many treatises emerged. In Tibet, Princess Wencheng (Kongjo), both earlier and later ones, first brought Chinese astrological texts and established the tradition. In the later spread of the Dharma, translators such as Khampa Trama, Pandita Dawa Nagpo, and Khyungnag Shakya Dargyä translated and explained many treatises, including 'The Clear Lamp'. Khyungnag and others also unearthed many 'terma' (hidden treasures) of elemental astrology, establishing widely renowned great traditions. However, the early translations were distorted by the later Princess Wencheng. Some, due to Tibet's meager merit and resentment towards Chinese people, concealed the key secret points, mistook what was not (correct) for what was, regarded self-made theories as gold, (resulting in) empty results without essence.
