A teacher with countless Dharma gates, possessing unparalleled enlightened activities, thus unimaginable. From all of these, a mere essence of the profound path of subsequent accomplishment remains until today. These are also the five Dharma cycles known as the root Golden Dharmas of the two Dhis (Niguma and Sukhasiddhi): namely, the five cycles of Niguma, Sukhasiddhi, Vajrasanapa, Maitripa, and Rahula, along with various scattered pith instructions. Second [describing the nature of the individual lineages] has four parts: 1. Distant Lineage. 2. Close Lineage. 3. Extremely Close Lineage. 4. Displaying the manner of special excellence. The first (part is): Six sons, early and later, eighteen thousand spiritual friends, Ripened and liberated, a single lineage, a vajra seal. The Seven Jewels, by Dharma Lord Drogön Tönpa, were revealed, Three learned and accomplished ones, at Gnas-rnying, transmitted to disciples. The great accomplished one Khyungpo's five early sons and one later son, totaling six, along with eighteen thousand spiritual friends, etc., ripened and liberated sentient beings as numerous as the dust particles on the great earth. Among these, the five early sons are: Remeu Tönpa, the pure tree trunk of wisdom; Gyamo Che, the flourishing branch of altruism; Ngultön Rinwang, the leaf of compassion; Latöd Könchok Khar, the flower of loving-kindness; and Zhanggom Chöseng, the essence of clear light. The one later son is Mogchogpa Rinchen Tsöndrü, who ripened the fruits of illusory body and dream. The secret words of Vajradhara, the single lineage instruction, descended upon Mogchogpa alone. From there, it was successively transmitted to Wöntön Kyergangpa, Sanggye Nyentön, and up to Drogön Tönpa. As prophesied by Vajradhara and Yeshe Dakini (188b), Drogön Chöje Tönpa revealed the single lineage Vajra Seal, which became the Seven Jewels, and his accomplished disciples spread throughout Jambudvipa and its surrounding continents. The principal ones were Tsangpa Shangtön, Samdingpa Zhönnu Drub, and Jagchen Gyaltsen Bum; these three learned and accomplished ones established the foundation of the lineage and put the pith instructions into writing. Shangtön's disciples, such as Khyungpo Tsülmön, etc., became known as the later Seven Jewels, forming a wondrous lineage. And from Jag and Samding, countless seat-holding disciples appeared.

ing。

ing. Furthermore, stemming from the direct disciple of the Dharma Lord Teacher, Tashi Pal of Suvarnadvipa, and from the lineage of Latö Nenying (Ancient Dwelling of Latö), endowed with ten great qualities, eighty-eight emanations of Avalokiteshvara (Chenrezig) appeared. These were prophesied to serve the welfare of sentient beings and the Dharma, forming the initial generations, such as the successive abbots of Könchok Khar (Könchok Castle) in Latö and their student lineages, and so forth, are countless. T2. Second, [The Close Lineage]: Thanggyal's three transmissions of Niguma, early and late. By the omniscient Dolpopa Sangye's later incarnation, the great siddha Tsöndrü Zangpo, also known as Thangtong Gyalpo, who possessed five names in one body, heard the whispered transmissions known as "The Upland Praises Lineage" from Muchen Gyaltsen Palzang, a disciple of the long lineage master-siddha Shangtön, and received them from the Bodhisattva Jinpa Zangpo, taking them to heart. Consequently, three sequential close lineages arose, directly held by the Wisdom Dakini (Yeshe Khandro). Firstly, in Riwoché of Tsang, Niguma herself appeared and gave instructions on the Six Dharmas, Mahamudra, Path Application, Immortal, and Indivisibility of Guru and Protector. Secondly, at the base of a pine tree in Sindzong, Dokmé, the empowerments for each of these were given. Thirdly, the pith instructions of Khechö (Vajrayogini) arose as a wordless symbolic method. These three transmissions—early, middle, and late (189a)—were transmitted individually by Mangkarwa Lodrö Gyaltsen and others, and thus the Kagyü lineage has remained unbroken to this day. T3. Third, [The Extremely Close Lineage]: The hero of twenty-five close and distant attainments heard, Including the wondrous close lineage, upheld by Dakinis. The special tradition of the Secret Lord, Savioress, and Protector. In the pure vision of the close lineage, Vajra Yogini Niguta herself appeared and bestowed special pith instructions twice. Furthermore, the two long lineages of 'Jag' and 'Sam', and the twenty-four types of transmissions from Thanggyal and others, totaling twenty-five transmission traditions, along with over a hundred instruction sessions, were heard by the noble lord of Manjushri-like accomplishments, Palden Künga Drölchok. He gave over a hundred instruction methods, thereby establishing many fortunate individuals on the ground of accomplishment. Thus, the long lineage, the two close lineages, and the wondrous extremely close lineage, directly upheld by the Wisdom Dakini at Drölchok's feet, these transmissions.
