他著有《四百论》(rnal 'byor spyod pa bzhi brgya pa),共有十六品;《中观掌珍论》(dbu ma lag pa'i tshad rtsa 'grel);《无生宝藏》(skye med rin po che'i mdzod);《般若心要集》(ye shes snying po kun las btus pa)等。

At the stage of the path, there are two praises: the great compassion of skillful means, and the Praises to the Mothers of the Four Noble Truths of Wisdom. At the stage of the fruition, there are separate praises to the Three Kayas (bodies of the Buddha), and praises that do not differentiate but laud from the perspective of the intrinsic nature of the view, such as ultimate praise, incomparable praise, inconceivable praise, and transcendent praise. These are also stated by Candrakīrti (123b) in the *Prasannapadā* (Clear Words): “Speaking of the *Ratnāvalī* (Precious Garland) and the *Samyakstuti* (Perfect Praise), etc.” Furthermore, the meaning of explicitly counting the five collections of reasoning (rig tshogs lnga, the five treatises on epistemology) means there is no major disagreement. However, earlier translators such as Khu Lotsāwa (Khul Lotsawa) and others added *Terminological Establishment* (tha snyad grub pa) on top of the five collections of reasoning, considering them to be the six collections of reasoning. Regarding this, Je Rinpoche (Tsongkhapa) and others stated that if such a treatise existed, it would not have been uncounted in the *Prasannapadā*, and the direct disciples of the noble ones (ārya) also did not cite it anywhere when referring to collections of reasoning. Therefore, it is said that adding the *Ratnāvalī* (Precious Garland) makes it the six collections of reasoning. Among these, the *Mūlamadhyamakakārikā* (Root Verses on the Middle Way) extensively explains all phenomena as established in emptiness through various lines of reasoning, but does not present the aspect of skillful means. The *Yuktiṣaṣṭikā* (Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning) establishes the body of the Madhyamaka, and the other three (treatises) also solely present emptiness. The *Ratnāvalī* (Precious Garland), however, extensively explains the two selflessnesses (of persons and phenomena) and also appropriately presents the aspect of skillful means. Therefore, the *Mūlamadhyamakakārikā*, the *Yuktiṣaṣṭikā*, and the *Ratnāvalī* are the three complete bodies of treatises, while the other three are like branches extended from the *Mūlamadhyamakakārikā*. Noble Deva (Āryadeva) and others successively propagated and sustained the teachings. From the *Saṃgraha Sūtra* (Compendium Sūtra) it states: “Āryadeva, who attained accomplishment through the path of the ten virtues, and Aśvaghoṣa, who wore coarse robes, etc.” Furthermore, the great Ācārya Āryadeva, son of the King of Siṃhala (Sri Lanka), who was prophesied in the sūtra, relied on Nāgārjuna and attained many siddhis (accomplishments). Āryaśūra (Āryadeva) entrusted the teachings, gave explanations and listened, built monasteries (gtsug lag khang), established the foundation of Mahāyāna Dharma, and thereby long sustained the teachings. He composed works such as the *Catuḥśataka* (Four Hundred Verses), which has sixteen chapters; the *Madhyamakahastaprākaraṇa* (Treatise on the Middle Way as a Handful); the *Anutpanna Ratnakośa* (Treasury of Unborn Jewels); the *Jñānasārasamuccaya* (Compendium of the Essence of Wisdom) etc. The teachers of the tirthikas (non-Buddhist schools), those born from the womb, were unable to overcome his great mastery of siddhis.
