My mind. The hero is the three winds becoming one in the central channel, or the essences of the elements becoming one in the bindu. Great wisdom is non-conceptual or the co-emergent of bliss and emptiness. Being filled with taste is abiding in a non-conceptual state, or bliss and emptiness pervading the entire body. Constantly burning and dripping or engaging in the samaya of union, this is the hidden meaning. Or again, the vajra is the tathata free from defilements. The hero is the three realms becoming one in the dharmadhatu. Great wisdom is the perfection of the five wisdoms. Being filled with taste is all of samsara and nirvana transforming into its nature. Then, what does the letter "ི་" signify? So asked. Secondly, the Blessed One said, "Speak, listen!" Thus he spoke. The Blessed One replied: There are four meanings to this. The meaning of the words is: The sound of "ཧེ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) indicates the great compassion of skillful means, that is, the word "ཧེ་" is the sound of "ཧེ་རུ་," which means cause, and the cause of enlightenment is compassion. And this compassion has two objects: sentient beings and phenomena. There is also objectless compassion, making three, and here it refers to the latter. "བཛྲ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) means vajra, and its meaning is to destroy or dissect others. Therefore, it can be understood as the wisdom that destroys all elaborations or dissects all phenomena. The connection and continuity between the great compassion of skillful means and the wisdom of emptiness is the nature of the unsurpassed yoga tantra. Such a nature of union is called Hevajra. Therefore, this unsurpassed secret tantra, the Vajradhara I will speak, please listen, you petitioners and retinue! That is its meaning. According to the general meaning, what ཧེ་ indicates is the clear and complete form of the deity characterized by compassion. The wisdom indicated by བཛྲ་ is the knowledge that all things are without self-nature and are emptiness. Therefore, the union of clarity and emptiness is the meaning of Hevajra. According to the secret meaning, ཧེ་ is the Sanskrit word for compassion, "ཀ་རུ་ཎ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), "ཀཾ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is bliss, and "རུ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is holding, that is, holding the co-emergent bliss arising from burning and dripping or union. བཛྲ་ wisdom is its object, emptiness. Therefore, the union of bliss and emptiness is the meaning of Hevajra. According to the ultimate meaning, ཧེ་ is play, that is, (27) Constantly delighting in benefiting sentient beings in samsara, possessing the great compassion of skillful means, thus preventing the extreme of pacification. བཛྲ་ is the profound wisdom that destroys all elaborations of signs and realizes reality as it is, thus preventing the bondage of existence. The union of skillful means and wisdom that liberates from the two extremes, or the sound of compassion "ཀ་རུ་ཎ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), "ཀཾ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is bliss, "རུ་ཎ་" (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) is without dust, that is, the great bliss of unchanging skillful means. The wisdom expressed by བཛྲ་ is that the object is emptiness, fully endowed with all qualities, that is, ཨེ་ཝྃ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning) union, the four bodies are inseparable, the nature body, this is the meaning of Hevajra. This is from what is said in the Ornament Treatise.
