The teacher Vajradhara, who possesses the qualities of maternal authority and transcends the two extremes, spoke in a special way to those fortunate enough to hear the tantra with Vajragarbha as the main subject: Starting with the word of wonder, "Emaho! (Sanskrit Romanization: Emaho, Chinese literal meaning: How rare!)," the bodhisattva of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, not only that, but also the great fearless spirit who wants to place all sentient beings on that enlightenment, so he is called Mahasattva, which is the general name. Emptiness and compassion are united (20) and manifested, so he is called Vajragarbha, which is the special name. Possessing impartial great compassion, so he is called Mahakaruna, through these three names of merit. Calling with pleasant words, praising the accomplishment of self and other benefits, he said "Good!" twice, or with words of wonder and solemn exhortation to make him excited. In order not to confuse the retinue with the categories of names, for the four of body, speech, mind and essence mentioned earlier, they are expressed by the names of the four bodhisattvas: Vajrasattva, Mahasattva, Samayasattva Mahasattva, and Hridaya Hevajra. In order to express all the basis, path and result, please tell, please listen. Then, in the place of "Then," in the Vajragarbha Commentary, it only appears that "Entering the samadhi of Hevajra, Vajragarbha made a request." Through Jyangdak Dawa, it was supplemented from the Sambhuta Tantra, and the words of request were added in detail. Please also tell the more secret content than the Jewel Ornament, which is revealed between the lines, and up to this point are the words of request. (21) The following explains the words of reply. Gyalwa Rangjung Dorje also clearly stated that he actually thought so. Jamyang Chokyi Drakpa emphasized the meaning of the scripture itself. Second, the detailed explanation of the questions and answers of the four bodhisattvas is divided into two parts: the questions and answers of the three bodhisattvas and the questions and answers of Hridaya Hevajra. The first part is divided into two parts: question and answer. The first part is: starting from Vajragarbha, saying "Said to me." That is to say, Bodhisattva Vajragarbha prayed to Bhagavan. For what reason did Bhagavan say

If it is said to be in accordance with Vajrasattva, then in what way does it become a Mahasattva, and for what reason is it called a Samayasattva? Please tell me these reasons as they are. After saying this, the Bhagavan said: It should be told. The Bhagavan, in answering the question, said: The Vajra of emptiness is called Vajra because it is not broken by the proliferation of conceptual thoughts. The Bodhisattva of great compassion, either simultaneously liberates the three realms of desire, form, and formlessness, or enters into Samata equality, the three realms are not differentiated, and the wisdom is of one taste, that is, one, so it is called Bodhisattva. For this reason, through the reasoning arising from wisdom, one realizes such a meaning, so it is called Vajrasattva. Experiencing the bliss of innate great wisdom, the taste of which is without outflows, filling the continuum with this taste, and constantly abiding in equality, this is called Mahasattva. Everything is equal in the nature of great bliss, so it is a Bodhisattva, and because it fills all continuums, it is called great. The Sanskrit word for Samaya is that which does not transgress. It means that at all times and places, one does not transgress the Bodhicitta, and engages in the deeds of the Buddha, or constantly engages in the deeds of benefiting all sentient beings with the Samaya of Bodhicitta, so it is called Samayasattva. This is also because it does not transgress the work of benefiting others, so it is a Samaya. Entering into compassion and equality, so it is a Bodhisattva, this is the literal meaning. Or, Vajra is the Dharmadhatu that is not broken by birth and death. Bodhisattva is the oneness of the three realms as unreal. Great wisdom is the innate nature of mind. (23) Filling with taste is experiencing its meaning. Samaya is constantly practicing with various methods, this is the general meaning. Or, Vajra is the deity yoga that is not broken by ordinary conceptual thoughts. Bodhisattva is all the manifestations of the three realms appearing as its play in one direction. Great wisdom is the emptiness of self-nature. Filling with taste is knowing that everything is its nature. Constantly remembering and practicing the Samaya to be protected, etc., this is the general meaning of the generation stage. Or, Vajra is the heat yoga that burns the aggregates and elements, or the outflowless...
