There is no protector, please liberate me from the suffering of samsara by means of protection. This is the concluding statement. This supplication is praise. (428) Then there is the offering, which is the collection of delicious foods and drinks with a hundred flavors, and the powerful cow, which is the best of great meats that is the cause of it, and all kinds of intoxicating wines, and fragrant incense, and offerings of various foods, and garlands of flowers and so on, and various musical instruments represented by bells, and objects with images of makaras and swans, and offering items gathered with fragrant substances. In addition, the disciple should offer to the guru who abides in the nature of Vajradhara with whatever offering items are available. The meaning of this is that the venerable Naropa said, "Focus on the sound of the bell, decorate with flowers and incense, and the twelve-year-old bell will mature." He quoted the teachings of the Chakrasamvara Tantra. In the Immaculate Union Tantra, it says, "Bhagavan, he! is the nature of Vairochana, the great peaceful Akshobhya, Vajrayogini, with the union of Akshobhya, accomplishing Ratnasambhava and (429) the mudra, is Amitabha, the irreversible is Amoghasiddhi, the true arising of Vajrayogini is Vajrasattva, the Vajra Guru who possesses all the qualities of the five wisdoms and the three bodies, skillful means and wisdom, etc." This is the meaning that is said. The fourth empowerment has three parts: the actual content of the fourth empowerment, by what means to manifest it, and its vows. The first part has two points: the exhortation to practice and its essence. The first point is: "The most excellent... Vajradhara." It is said in this way because the disciple, relying on the third empowerment, experiences the bliss of melting, thereby obtaining the most excellent, that is, the most outstanding co-emergent joy. This is also expressed in various ways, and when the three joys of desire and non-desire are abandoned, and the co-emergent joy of the fourth instant is experienced, the precious guru who is able to explain the word empowerment speaks, that is, he says, "Hold the yidam, the steadfast great hero" to exhort the disciple.

will also purify defilements and will definitely go to the special places of realization. That is, the word "gata" applies to both realization and going. The second part has two parts: asking and answering. The first part is: From "then" to "please explain". This means that just after the Blessed One finished the brief explanation, the great Bodhisattva Vajra Heart, because he is the master of the tantra and to separate the question and answer, asked the yogini sisters for forgiveness and then prayed to the Blessed One like this: The method of realizing the fourth empowerment, is it the mandala, the wheel, the generation stage, the completion stage, or what other meaning is expressed? If it is said that the nature of all the qualities of the Buddhas of the three times or the five families is the city of the supreme place of liberation, which is called the mandala. Blessed One, I am troubled by doubts, please explain what the order and method of those refer to? This is the question. The second part is: From "Blessed One" to "completely purify". It means that in response to such a question, the Blessed One replied: Maṇḍa (梵文天城体:maṇḍa,梵文罗马拟音:maṇḍa,汉语字面意思:Maṇḍa) means essence, taking the essence, which is said to be the meaning of the word mandala. Among the aggregates and elements, etc., it is said that the essence like kunda The conventional bodhicitta is the basis of great bliss, and it takes and holds by the melting of burning and dripping, so it is called the mandala, which is the secret meaning. Or, the mandala of all dharmas is said to be the essence of the Middle Way view Middle Way view). The ultimate bodhicitta, free from elaboration, takes and holds by meditating on the union of self-nature great bliss and compassion, so it shows the meaning of the mandala. In this way, the sound and meaning are combined or gathered together, and it is called the mandala. Furthermore, according to the meaning of the Indian commentaries, the teacher Bhavabhadra Bhavabhadra) said: Because of the gathering, how is it called the mandala? It is because the gathering of the Buddhas, that is, the nature of the aggregates, elements, places, five afflictions, five families, Buddha mothers, and goddesses is the mandala, cutting off the defilements of those is the wheel, the dependent and the depended gather and assemble, and the essence of the gathering of the Buddhas is taken.
