The joy that arises in the first moment is merely joy, without any other special qualities, because it is a small pleasure and, due to attachment, desires touch and so on. The joy that arises in the second, fully matured moment is supreme joy, because it is a great pleasure and especially desires pleasure. The joy that arises in the third, completely separated moment is described as joy-free joy, because it is satisfied with pleasure and free from the attachment of wanting to obtain pleasure again. The joy that arises in the fourth moment, which is free from characteristics, is only called non-conceptual coemergent joy, because it is free from conceptualization and bliss and emptiness are of one taste. Regarding one verse of the Vajra Heart Essence, etc., the Ngok translation translates it as: "All the Tathagatas (Sanskrit Devanagari: तथागत, Sanskrit Romanization: tathāgata, Chinese literal meaning: Thus Gone One) (317), and the wise ones such as Vajra Heart, everyone heard and believed this statement." The Black Difficult Commentary and other Indian commentaries also explain it in the same way. Ngok Lotsawa the Younger's feet said, "If it is according to 'Tathagata,' like a gathering, here also it is shown that there is a retinue of Tathagatas." Moreover, Rangjung Dorje also thought so. Therefore, at that time, all the Tathagatas gathered in the retinue, and the wise Bodhisattvas such as Vajra Heart, were very surprised by that unique speech, and with doubts and concerns, they fainted non-conceptually and fell to the ground. This is provisional meaning. At that time, because coemergence manifested, the duality of grasper and grasped did not waver, and they went into the state of great wisdom, which is the definitive meaning of fainting and falling. Why are fainting and so on shown in the provisional meaning? The first 'joy is the form of going' is related to changing conceptualization. Similarly, supreme joy also becomes contaminated because it focuses on pleasure. Joy-free joy is also a going because it is accompanied by conceptualization. Therefore, it is said that there is no coemergence in these three. The fact that it was previously said that all dharmas are pervaded by coemergence became a point of doubt. The definitive meaning of these is that the element is the order of conceptualization of the mind of enlightenment. The conceptualizations of the aggregates and sense bases are the Tathagata and great compassion.
