In order to put the meaning into practice, (the teacher) sometimes explains by reversing the order of the words, but here, we assume that it can be understood from the combination of meanings and the overall meaning. Here, considering that it would be easier to simply explain and learn the meaning of the words and literal combinations of the tantra, I will follow in the footsteps of Garwang Thamtad Khyenpa to explain. There are seven aspects: showing the place of occupying the land and colored powders, etc.; the difference between the upper three initiations and the four joys; the order of the mandala activities; the reality of the four initiations; questions and answers about the aggregates of elements; the characteristics of the innate (lhan skyes); and explaining the ultimate bodhicitta. The first is, first of all. (306) "Do it especially." It is said. At the beginning of entering the mandala activity, the yogi who has completed the recitation of Heruka or Selfless Mother (Bdag med ma), because he has the nature of the deity yoga of the generation stage, should purify the impure part of "Nor dzin," which is the name of the earth. And striving to practice is indicated by "effort." How to do it? From the letter raṃ (རཾ,raṃ,fire) transform into a sun disc, and on top of the sun disc, from the letter hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,seed syllable) arise a vajra ground, make it into a tent, etc. of vajra nature, and bless the ground. After occupying and protecting the land, draw the mandala of the father or mother deity from the outside. Where to draw it? With the word "garden" it can be in a forest or a garden, or in a place without rude and unbelieving people, and in the house frequented by bodhisattvas, and thus in temples where statues are placed, etc., and in houses gathered for the purpose of drawing mandalas. The Blessed One, father and mother's (307) sacred mandala, that is, the mandala with characteristics, should be perfectly constructed. If so, what kind of material should I use to draw? The color of the sacred colored powder is an expensive color, or the upper lamas of Tibet. Because the best colored powder was said before during the rainmaking, so explain it with that in mind. As Pandit Bhava Bhadra said, "Sacred colored powder is drawn with the color of human bones." In other translations, there are phrases such as "draw with the best color" or "with good color." In Dhagadasa, it is also said that it should be drawn with the color of heavenly substances, so it is best to use items from the charnel ground, or the medium is the powder of the five precious jewels.

In "Immaculate Union" it says: Or use sapphire (ཨིནྡྲ་ནཱི་ལ།,इन्द्रनील,indranīla,Indra blue), pearl (མུ་ཏིག,मुक्ति,mukti, liberation), lapis lazuli (བཻ་ཌཱུརྻ,वैडूर्य,vaiḍūrya, lapis lazuli), moon crystal, emerald, etc., or coral, conch, shell, gold, silver, etc. If these are not available, then from grains such as rice, use barley or pomegranate, etc., of five colors as substitutes. Then, before drawing the mandala in this way, it is necessary to draw lines (༣༠༨). How should the measurements be determined? Taking twenty-four fingers as one cubit, the master's measurement is three cubits, plus three thumb widths. From the space between the eyebrows to the secret place, the path for the entering of bodhicitta is three cubits plus three thumb widths, as explained in "Union Mind Commentary" and others. Three cubits represent the three corners of the lotus, and three thumbs represent the three of bliss, ease, and non-discrimination. The meaning of these, the venerable Naropa said: The nature of the deity first spoken of is also the nature of the Dharma, Sambhoga, and Nirmana bodies, which are inseparable and unchanging deities. In the place of drawing, such as a garden, etc., in a pleasing place, possessing the nature of the mandala of body, speech, and mind, sowing the seeds of emptiness and compassion, sixteen pure, within the Dharma origin. The line is the unity of body, speech, and mind, blessed by Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔ།,वज्रसत्त्व,vajrasattva,Vajrasattva), etc. Regarding the meaning of colored powder, "Immaculate Union" says: Jewels are mind, five are senses. The subtle symbol of powder (༣༠༩) is the mandala pervading the sky. Rice and other grains without husks symbolize the meaning of essence. The three cubits of the mandala represent the three vajras, the three thumbs represent innate wisdom, and the three parts represent joy, supreme joy, and cessation of joy. So it is said. Second, explaining the difference between the upper three and the four joys, divided into four parts: the accumulation as the basis, the manner of bestowing secret empowerment and wisdom empowerment, the explanation of the wisdom arising from them, dispelling the extremes based on them, and the explanation of the four joys. First, from "There" to "becomes." It means that "There" here is related to the colored powder mandala, briefly describing the rituals for entering the mandala. Then, according to the view of the venerable Marpa, in the water mandala, starting from the name of the vajra bell, after the vase empowerment is completely accomplished, the body and
