Pa. The method of recognizing impurity and meditating on purity. First, it is said, "From the aggregates, purify obscurations." That is, the five aggregates of form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness; the six faculties of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind; the six sources such as eye-source; and the five great elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space. If these things are well examined, they are without inherent existence in their own nature, and therefore are primordially and naturally pure. If so, what is the purpose of the path? However, that natural purity is obscured by adventitious stains, and delusion arises due to the power of ignorance. Therefore, the afflictions arising from grasping and being grasped should be abandoned by seeing their selflessness. To perfect the Buddha's Dharma, the obscurations should be abandoned by meditating on them, and the obscuration of knowledge should also be purified by great purity. Secondly, it is said, "Self-awareness becomes Buddha." Self-awareness is the nature of clarity and non-conceptuality. Exemplified by the wisdom of power, etc., the manifest object of a yogi's experience, which is to be known individually, cannot be expressed by others. This very self-nature of purity, which has been free from the stains of the three obscurations since beginningless time, does not depend on other purities, such as the purity of the gods, which involve conceptualization, for liberation. Since the objects and subjects are falsely imputed by delusion, the delusion of the object being purified, the subject will also become pure. Thus, for the purity of grasping and being grasped, the great bliss of the wisdom that each individual knows becomes supremely pure. Therefore, the objects of form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, as well as the beautiful and ugly, etc., which are not mentioned here, all things seen by the yogi in the world, both container and contents, are pure as the self-aware, co-emergent object and subject, without distinction. This principle, and as will be explained below, all beings are non-dual wisdom, and that wisdom will become the nature of the ultimate Buddha. Rangjung Zhap said: This is the Tathagatagarbha, extensively explained in the Uttaratantra. And it is combined with the scriptural evidence shown by the lotus, sentient beings, bees, etc.

Vajragarbha asked: O Bhagavan, since all things are naturally pure, what is to be abandoned that is impure? In response to his question, the Bhagavan said: Ordinary form and so on are imputed, which are impure. What is the reason for that? Because of clinging to the object to be grasped and the grasping

Purifying with the forms of these deities, and purifying the attachment to deities with the supreme purification previously shown, one becomes completely pure. Among them, that which is constituted by color and shape is form. The aggregation of many is a skandha, and the impure skandha of form is the goddess Vajra Mother. (297) It is the nature of the union of ultimate truth and conventional truth. In order to purify vulgar attachments, one should contemplate its nature. Similarly, experiencing pleasure and pain etc. is feeling, and its skandha is also called the secret White One, which is completely pure. Grasping at characteristics is perception, and its skandha is the Water Yogini. The skandha of formation, which causes the mind to turn to others through causes and conditions, is the Vajra Dakini. The skandha of consciousness, which distinguishes objects, abides in the manner of the Selfless Yogini. Here, "manner" is explained as meaning conformity. Thus, in the ground state, these five skandhas are always purified by the pure form of the path yogini, and the yogi will accomplish that very nature in the fruit state. These abide in the inner nadis. Many Chinese versions do not have this sentence, and it does not appear in some translations. Next, incidentally, the goddesses who abide in the outer nadis are explained. In the northeast, in the place of the powerful one, is the goddess Pukkasi. In the southeast, in the place of fire, is (298) Similarly, the Mountain Dwelling Mother. In the southwest, in the place of realitylessness, is established the Corpse-Stealing Mother. In the northwest, in the place of wind, is established the Old Mother, these are the corners. Similarly, in the four directions of that very outer nadi, the order of the White Goddess etc. is proclaimed: In the east, in the place of Indra, is the White One, in the south, in the place of Yama, is the Thief Mother, in the west, in the place of the Water God, is the Corpse-Raising Mother, in the north, in the place of the Evil Body, is Ghasmari, these are the four directions. Below is called the Earth-Walking Mother, and above is called the Sky-Walking Mother, although these are proclaimed in the direction of this very generation stage spoken of here, in reality these goddesses are completely pure with the nature of samsara and nirvana, or rather, these two, the Sky-Walking Mother and the Earth-Walking Mother, abide in this way. The purification of the six external objects is also like this. For the object to be purified, that is, all forms such as the great elements, it is always proclaimed that the purifying goddess is the White One. For sound, the purifying Thief Mother is most famous, and
