Larang Jungne (la rang byung zhabs) greatly promoted the oral tradition of Marpa (mar rnyog) and others, and explained it well with profound teachings. The third is the name of the chapter: from "Thatness" to the fifth (chapter). (177) Thus it is said, this is the explanation of the words and meanings of the fifth chapter, which explains the perfection stage of coemergent Thatness. Sixth is the chapter on conduct, the connection between the previous and subsequent chapters is: In order to enhance the perfection stage, it is necessary to practice the conduct of wisdom asceticism, therefore this chapter is explained immediately after. The connection between the summary and the detailed explanation is: In the first chapter, "Declaring the accomplishment of various benefits," therefore, from here onwards, the conduct of accomplishing self and other benefits in the summary is explained in detail. What is to be expressed in this chapter is: the conduct of enhancing the perfection stage, and the way of expressing it is the texts of this chapter. What is realized is: enhancing the perfection stage and making the merits increase more and more. Other wise men say that it is related to both stages. The explanation of the hidden meaning is: the basis of coemergence—the essence of bodhicitta, moving and arising is conduct, (178) its meaning or realizing it. The necessity is: not violating the teachings, walking in the twelve places, thereby walking in the twelve bhumis, being blessed by the dakinis, approaching the Buddha, and obtaining the siddhi of Hevajra. As said by Lord Marpa. Although secret conduct needs to be practiced before this wisdom asceticism, it is explained in the second chapter of the lower examination, so it will be explained there. Therefore, here is the direct demonstration of ascetic conduct, which has three: connection, the text of the chapter, and the name of the chapter. The first is: from "Then" to "Supreme Nature" it is said, from the explanation of Thatness, in addition, in order to enhance the perfection stage, practicing in a way that is inseparable from skillful means and wisdom, thereby excellently declaring the supreme nature that is most excellent than other perfections. Thus it is. Second, there are two types: teaching and explanation, the first has five: the necessity of conduct, (179) the ornaments and clothes of that time, food, deity yoga, companion. The first is

Therefore, the scripture says, "By what is the cause of accomplishment?" By whatever conduct, those who are endowed with the opportunity can, in one lifetime, transcend the accomplishments of mantras or the world, and reach the ultimate, which is to practice. The Bhagavan, who possesses the nature of the four bodies, can quickly attain the supreme accomplishment of Hevajra through the cause of conduct. Secondly, the scripture says, "From the yogi to the skin." The dual union yogi who abides in the two stages and whose realization has become stable, and who desires to practice, should first prepare the ornaments and clothing that are needed at the time of practice. The ornaments worn on the body during practice are: beautiful earrings to be worn on the ears, which are adorned with beautiful shapes; the wheel below the jewel on the crown of the head, which has various shapes such as spokes; (180) Two matching bracelets to be worn on the wrists of both hands; a belt, also called "lower binding," with swaying pendants, to be worn around the waist; two rings at the ankles, similarly wearing two anklets; two armlets to be worn on the upper arms at the base of the forearms; a necklace of bone beads to be worn around the neck. The materials of these ornaments, as mentioned at the end, are made of the bones of humans and other beings. The lower part of the body should be wrapped in a complete tiger skin. The detailed definitions of the ornaments will be explained below, so they will not be repeated here. Earrings are patience, the wheel is meditation, the belt is diligence, the bracelets are discipline, and the rosary is the nature of generosity, which are explained in detail in the root tantra. Naropa said that the tiger skin symbolizes the destruction of the suffering of all beings in the three realms who are devoured by afflictions like tigers, (181) and Rangjung Dorje also considered the tiger skin to have the meaning of fearlessness and non-discrimination. Thirdly, the scripture says, "At that time, the food is half of the immortal ten," only saying one sentence. That is, from the word Amrita "मृत (梵文天城体:मृत,梵文罗马拟音:mṛta)" means death, and it is negated by the letter "अ (梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a)", so it is immortal, which means nectar. Half of ten is five, so it is the five nectars.
