Meditate on oneself as the deity, and practice the two types of meditation in the order of blessings, as they are, and put them into practice. Fourth, arise, as it is said, "abide." Arise from the meditation session, and as it is said, "abide in the form of your own deity." Therefore, arising from meditation, in the interval between sessions, arise in the form of a one-faced deity, and all actions should be done as if they were illusions, non-dual, with the nature of great bliss, especially believing in all dharmas, and abiding in all places. As it is said in the Difficult Explanation, meditate in this way. The definitive meaning of these is to make the innate nature of the three ordinary doors inseparable from the three vajras, free from the defilement of conceptualization. The definitive meaning of the seven empowerments, as explained in the extensive teachings of the Five Treatises, the Vajra Heart Commentary, etc., should be understood as stainless light. The name of the third chapter is: The chapter on fully bestowing empowerment on all the deities, which is an explanation of the words and meanings of the fourth chapter. (144) The fifth chapter is the Chapter on Suchness. The connection between the previous and the subsequent is: If the four branches of the generation stage are complete, but they are not connected to the completion stage and union, then suchness cannot be realized, and therefore the supreme accomplishment cannot be achieved, so this is taught immediately after that. The connection between the summary and the detailed explanation is: The meaning of "abiding" mentioned in the first chapter is that this chapter explains in detail the method of making the mind abide. What is to be expressed is the completion stage, which represents the reality of all dharmas. What is expressed is the speech that is shown in accordance with the sound of the four seals. What is realized is the union of the two stages and the suchness of wisdom among the four suchnesses. The connection of the hidden meaning is: Since the mind of enlightenment is inconceivable and non-deceptive in the ultimate truth, it is to know its suchness. There are three parts to this explanation: connecting the context, (145) the actual text of the Chapter on Suchness, and stating the name of the chapter. The first part: From "then" to "should be done." As it is said, immediately after fully showing the yoga of the deity, in order to realize the reality of all dharmas, that is, the suchness of the mind, the completion stage of

The chapter will be explained. Thus it is said. The second (part) has three (aspects): the suchness of all things; by what means to realize it; showing all co-emergent. The first (aspect): from "essence" to "there is no arising," thus it is said. This has two (aspects): the essential explanation of the words and meanings and the explanation according to the view of Naropa; and the repetition of the view of Definitive Meaning Lord of Oneself's Feet. According to the first (aspect), the essence is the Tathagata's wisdom that can be known naturally, the object to be grasped, the faculty that grasps, the grasping consciousness, separated from the transformations of the eighteen elements. For the yogis who meditate on suchness, there is no external object of form. Because it does not exist, its object—the eye that sees form—does not exist. Also, with the word "also," the consciousness of the eye does not exist. Similarly, there is no object of sound. The ear that hears does not exist. The consciousness of the ear does not exist. There is no object of smell. The nose that smells does not exist. The consciousness of the nose does not exist. There is no object of taste. The tongue that tastes does not exist. The consciousness of the tongue does not exist. There is no object of touch. The body that touches does not exist. The consciousness of the body does not exist. There is no object of the realm of phenomena. The mind that grasps, that is, the faculty of mind, does not exist. The consciousness arising from the mind does not exist either. Because the nature of all phenomena of the inner and outer self-nature is originally pure in the emptiness free from elaboration, there are no impure eighteen elements. This is explained according to the common meaning of Sutra and Tantra. The hidden meaning is that in the essence of co-emergent nature, because the impure eighteen elements such as form are not seen, it symbolizes the Tathagata's wisdom. Because the symbolized wisdom and those two are not different, it is said to be the wisdom of the Buddha. According to the second (aspect), in the reality of the actual ground, by practicing the suchness of body and mind, and the sequence of sealing and opening of the generation stage and completion stage, the two obscurations of the result are completely purified, and it will be explained in conjunction with suchness. Suchness or great bliss, from the perspective of essence, is merely an appearance of form, and it is not truly established from the beginning. Although it is not established, it appears as form. The union of these two, like a water moon, is not the ultimate gouri, because for form, it is always said to be white. This is the sealing of gouri on form. Form.
