In Naropa's commentary on difficult points, if we summarize the meaning of the words: the thought of bestowing benefit and happiness on all beings, including relatives, friends, enemies, and others, is loving-kindness; the desire to liberate beings from suffering and the causes of suffering, even at the cost of one's life, is compassion; rejoicing in the benefit of others is joy; and indifference to the faults of others, without partiality or hatred, is equanimity. According to the generation stage, as explained by Krishnacharya (Naropa), the first is the aspect of wishing to bestow unsurpassed happiness on all beings; the second is the aspect of eliminating all their suffering, which is compassion; the third is the aspect of wishing to bestow upon them uninterrupted heavenly bliss; and the fourth is said to be the aspect of meditating on the path that becomes the antidote to all their afflictions and near afflictions. The summarized meaning of the definitive meaning of the completion stage is: gathering the equal bliss of all bodies, stopping the self-nature of afflictions that are the cause of suffering, and the joy of innate experience, which is said to be equanimity that is inseparable from bliss and emptiness. The ultimate meaning is: ḍhaṃ ga da śas (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,字面意思unknown), loving-kindness is wisdom, compassion is skillful means, joy is union, and equanimity is the nature of the indivisibility of the three vajras, which is well explained as the meaning of the nature of emptiness that possesses all supreme aspects. (120) The necessity of practicing it is, as Master Ratnakara said: In order to stabilize all pure roots such as bodhicitta, to distinguish between harmful thoughts and various harms, and to protect oneself from the suffering of evil destinies, demons, and inferior vehicles, these are what yogis should practice first. Secondly, again from emptiness, place the letters. It is said that this verse on the order of generation of the four vajras is the summary of all the limbs of the generation stage. Again, emptiness, in which all signs of elaboration are completely pacified, is the nature of immaculate purity and the wisdom of realizing non-arising, which is the basis of the generation stage, and this is the first. The second is the emission of rays of light from the seed syllable Hūṃ, from which the deity is generated.

The first is, starting from the beginning, it is necessary to (123) Meditate properly. It is said that, first, all things collected by grasping and being grasped are viewed as empty and meditated upon. In that nature, in the center of various lotuses, on the corpse, where is the meaning of proper meditation? Just as a corpse has no self-grasping and no conceptual thoughts, it is said to symbolize the nature of peace with all the elaborations of the Dharma realm. On top of that, the yogi who possesses the experience of connecting the generation and completion stages abides, abandoning ordinary grasping. Meditate on oneself as being non-different from Heruka himself. This is said to be the nature of the great Bodhicitta. The order of meditation should also know how to connect the upper and lower tantras. Meditate on the letter Ra at the heart of the corpse on one's seat. From that arises the solar mandala. On top of that, meditate on the form of the letter Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer), which is the nature of the union of skillful means and wisdom. This is the ritual of the seed. From that Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter, light radiates and gathers, and from it arises the vajra with five prongs at the (124) tip, which is slightly separated in form, black in color, and terrifying with a fierce appearance, possessing great fear. That vajra abides in the center of its heart. Again, meditate on that which is marked with the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter. This is the ritual of the hand symbol. Having viewed the form of the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter and the hand symbol as completely transformed, from that, meditate on the nature of completely purified anger, the form of the Bhagavan's body. That is also, born from the vajra seed Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter, moving throughout the three realms, the body color is great black. Its example is like the Utpala and other flowers that grow from the mud, it can also be said to have a blue color. Or, like the blue and the color of the sun are mixed together, it becomes a blue-reddish luster. With faith in Heruka, hoping and believing in that, in the principle of appearance and emptiness being like an illusion, it is necessary to obtain a definite understanding, and one should meditate properly. This is the ritual of the complete perfection of the body. The exact meaning of this is that the sun of the Ra letter is the illusory body that appears from the nature of Dharma. The reality of the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter is the indivisibility of the three vajras. From the Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter arises the vajra Hum (ཧཱུྃ, Hum, Hūṃ, Destroyer) letter mark (125) which is the mind of bliss and emptiness indivisible that arises from it, transformed into the essence of the five wisdoms. That is completely transformed.
