Say clearly, "So-and-so took it." This is immutable, therefore it is the Vajra Star. Here, the meaning of the Nāḍa mantra is not clearly explained in any Chinese or Tibetan commentary, so it seems to be a subject for investigation. However, here the term "Vajra Star" appears, and in the Chinese exemplar, the equivalent of (Sanskrit Devanagari: बज्राज्योती, Sanskrit Romanization: Bajrājyotī, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Light) Star appears, and in the essential commentary, it is said to be Vajra Star calculation. (110) In the category explanation, Nakshatra (Sanskrit Devanagari: नक्षत्र, Sanskrit Romanization: Nakṣatra, Chinese literal meaning: Star) is a star, Graha (Sanskrit Devanagari: ग्रह, Sanskrit Romanization: Graha, Chinese literal meaning: ग्रह) is a planet, and Agra (Sanskrit Devanagari: अग्र, Sanskrit Romanization: Agra, Chinese literal meaning: Top, श्रेष्ठ) means supreme, showing or examining, so said the venerable one. Pra (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्र, Sanskrit Romanization: Pra, Chinese literal meaning: Before, Start) descending eight branches appears in other tantras, among which is the thumb, where one sees an image, so it is said. The definitive meaning is: recognizing ignorance that destroys virtuous deeds with wisdom, thereby clearly showing the co-emergent reality, or, (Tibetan: ཌྷཾ་ག་ད་ཤས།), (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་རྡོ་རྗེ་གསུམ་དབྱེར་མེད།), (Tibetan: ན་གྲཱ་བཞི་སྐད་ཅིག་དང་དགའ་བ་བཞི།), being free from the three times, not being the time, being an inconceivable time. The number of mantras exceeds one hundred and eight, eight being the yoginis and the eight classes, fourteen being the mandala of the selflessness mother surrounded by the same number of goddesses. The eighth is Heruka and the retinue of eight goddesses. Symbolizing the clear light of the morning, etc., one should understand in detail like this. The eighth is expelling the five domestic animals, in Beṭuyā it says: The dog will run away. It is said that these are spoken to avert harm from these domestic animals when walking in the forest during the conduct of a yogi. Some of the former said this. These mantras are in accordance with the deity yoga, therefore they are placed between the five, and after reciting the appropriate recitation beforehand, they are applied to the activity, and the domestic animals will run away. Their meanings are, the first mantra is striking the head, the second is arrogance, the third is numbness of the body, the fourth is goosebumps, and if according to the definitive meaning, it is said in immaculate union, then, the third Ba letter of the fifth part is the nature of Amitabha. E (Tibetan: ཨེ་) is inseparable from wisdom, Da (Tibetan: ཌ་) the third of the third is Akshobhya, U (Tibetan: ཨུ་) adorned with Vajra Dakini, Ya (Tibetan: ཡ་) is the nature of a young girl. That is adorned with Vajra Mother A (Tibetan: ཨཱ་), that is doubled.

When reciting the mantra "Beṭu yā Beṭu yā," which represents the indivisibility of the two, the elephant outside and the power and objects inside, (112) the afflictions dominated by ignorance, such as desire, will flee and will not harm the yogi. Combine it in this way. The fifth letter of the fifth section, the first "ma" is the immovable Vajra, the three are inseparable. The second "ma" is the wind element, the accomplishment of speech Vajra. The "ma" below resides as the mind Vajra, the nature of the immovable. Long Ā (ཨཱ་) is the Vajra mother and the pure form aggregate, Vairochana. Reciting it twice is the nature of union. Reciting the mantra "Mammā Mammā," the tiger outside and the arrogance dominated by ignorance inside, which causes suffering to others, will flee and will not harm. The first letter of the fourth section, "ta," is accomplishment. Adorned with "e" is the completely pure mind. The first "la" is the realm of Vairochana, the second is possessing wisdom. "I" is the pure form aggregate, adorned with "gau." "Ya" is the female wind element. The mantra of the indivisibility of the three Vajras, "Lli ya te Lli ya," with this, the rhinoceros outside and the ignorance and delusion inside will flee and will not harm. "I Tsau ri" is the nature of the feeling aggregate, the fire element. "Li" is the earth element within the fire. "Li" is its (113) inner wind element. The latter "li" is the indivisibility of the three Vajras. The second letter of the fifth section, the two "pa" are the nature of Ratnasambhava. Adorned with "u," the Vajra Dakini, skillful means and wisdom are inseparable. Reciting the four letters twice is the nature of the four joys. Reciting this mantra, the snake outside and the anger dominated by ignorance inside will flee and will not harm. When the teacher subdued the elephant protector of wealth, like extending the five fingers of the right hand, if the yogi extends his hand, the dog outside and the jealousy dominated by ignorance inside will disappear and there will be no harm. Its meaning is that grasping and attachment, which are like a dog, fleeing is abandonment, and one will obtain the non-conceptual luminosity. It is well said that showing the fingers of the nature of the five wisdoms will transform the realm into luminosity. Although this mantra is not in the tantra, it is said in the Vajra Heart Essence Commentary: Om, Shvana, Tishtha, Tishtha, He, Vajrāya, Svāhā. Recite and visualize the fingers (114) as five lions, the previous lamas said.
