Extremely detailed explanation. First, regarding "from the vows (50) onwards, it is said to be done," taking "vows" as the basis for explanation. What are vows? They are all the dharmas encompassed by the outer, inner, and other three. Where are they gathered? They are gathered into the nature of Āli and Kāli, Evaṃ (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Romanization: evaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: thus) or the two, skillful means and wisdom. How are they gathered? Outwardly, they are the established vows; inwardly, they are the gathering of the essence in the four chakras; and otherwise, they are the perfect Buddha's wisdom and compassion, treasuring the benefit of sentient beings throughout space, and the differences in the state of gathering with causes should also be explained. Thus it is. Secondly, there are four: the vows of Bodhicitta, the vows of the three bodies, the vows of the four letters, and the explanation of the establishment of the wheels. First, from Āli, to skillful means. It is said that the essence of those vows is the nature of skillful means and wisdom, the vows of Evaṃ pervading all that is to be known. From this very point, it is said: "The vows of all Buddhas are perfectly established in Evaṃ." Thus it is. If it is combined with the inner meaning, then among the three, ground, path, and fruit, the ground is the reality of things, possessing the nature of skillful means and wisdom, and the ripening (51) is also the empowerment to recognize the skillful means residing in one's own body, as well as the defilements of the mind's grasping and holding. These also rely on the nature of Āli and Kāli, Evaṃ. Among them, the letter Āli, outwardly, is the white light of the moon, and its whiteness increases during the waxing moon; inwardly, it is the left channel, the wind on the left side, and the nature of the white bindu of Bodhicitta, which is emptiness, hence it is wisdom. Furthermore, the letter Kāli, outwardly, is the sunlight, and the sun's power increases during the waning moon, causing the moon to diminish; inwardly, it is the right channel, the wind of the right karma, and the unobstructed radiance of the red bindu of the sun's element, hence it is compassion and a part of skillful means. Impelled by force, furthermore, all the qualities and dharmas of the Buddha are inconceivable, hence it is the all-pervading lord of all. Thus, the outer, inner, and other three are inseparable, and this is the vow. The path that makes it manifest is to bind the key points of the root channels, wind, and Bodhicitta, and to meditate, manifesting the great bliss without leakage, and because it is free from (52) all afflictions, it is called the Buddha's vow that uses the fruit as the path. In short, this is the edge of the two dharmas.
