Because of knowing that selflessness is emptiness, the union of clarity and emptiness is the meaning of Hevajra. According to the hidden meaning: He is the transliteration of the Sanskrit word for compassion (karuṇā), in which "kam" means happiness, and "ru" means holding, that is, holding the innate happiness arising from the union of bliss and emptiness or union. Vajra is wisdom, which is its object, emptiness, that is, the union of bliss and emptiness, which is the meaning of Hevajra. According to the ultimate meaning: He is playfulness, that is, (27) Constantly taking pleasure in benefiting sentient beings in samsara, possessing great compassion, thus cutting off the extreme of peace. Vajra is the profound wisdom that destroys all conceptual elaborations, and truly realizes reality as it is, thus cutting off the bondage of existence. The method of liberation from the two extremes is the union of skillful means and wisdom. Or, the sound of compassion, the "kam" of the Sanskrit word (karuṇā) means happiness, and "ruṇa" means without dust, that is, the great happiness of unchanging skillful means and object. Vajra, expressed by wisdom, is the object, the emptiness that possesses all perfections, that is, E-vaṃ (एवम्) union, the four bodies are inseparable, the nature body, which is the meaning of Hevajra. This is recorded in the Jewel Basket Treatise and others. It speaks of the generation stage of the sixteen arms and the completion stage of the action mudra. Second, briefly explain the order of methods to obtain the fruit, divided into two aspects: a general explanation of the key points of the tantra and a separate explanation of the key points of the two stages. The first point is: it arises from the way of observation. Saying this, these two verses briefly explain the body, and from the second chapter onwards, it is explained in detail, so first (28) You must understand the relationship between them to understand the meaning of the words. Because the words of the tantra are reversed, according to the order of the following chapters, it is to welcome the vidya and nectar pills, rain, etc., and tell many deeds that benefit oneself and others. Making the body, speech, and mind of what is to be accomplished stiff, and transferring the karma to be accomplished to other places, and making the camps of many enemy armies stiff, and the current karma is forced by heat, and disturbing the city, etc., these are the brief explanations of the second chapter. How do the Buddhas arise? That is, the Buddhas such as the Body, Speech, and Mind Hevajra Heruka, just as they arise from the extensive tantra, praise them.

The generation stage comes from the chapter on deities, therefore it is the essence of the third chapter. Abiding, especially abiding, some explain as the essence of the fourth chapter on deity empowerment. Or, because it makes the non-abiding mind abide, therefore, showing the way of abiding of oneself and others, it is the essence of the Suchness chapter. Acting, refers to the action of accomplishing the benefit of oneself and others, therefore it is the essence of the sixth chapter. Great symbol, refers to the great bodily and verbal symbols of the union of male and female yogis, and the abiding etc. that ascends from ground to ground, it is the essence of the seventh chapter. How should these three, the cause of generation, the cause of abiding, and the cause of acting, be appropriately combined? Because it is the wheel of yoginis that shows the generation stage and completion stage of the yoginis, it is the essence of the eighth chapter. Wisdom and consciousness, refers to showing the purity of wisdom and consciousness etc., it is the essence of the ninth chapter. Or, profound wisdom, the part without elaboration that has become wisdom, and vast means, the part with elaboration that belongs to consciousness, it is the general essence. The cause of acting, because it is the cause of making the path manifest, therefore it is the ripening empowerment, it is the essence of the tenth chapter. The way of looking, refers to controlling, summoning, and making stiff etc., it is the essence of the eleventh chapter. The lower examination, refers to showing the parts that are not clear in the upper part, therefore it should be understood indirectly through the detailed content of the scripture. If the general meaning is applied to the generation stage: observing the assembly field is the way of looking; inviting the deity is summoning; offering with mantras and mudras etc. is the great symbol; the five purities etc. are various actions; destroying obstacles with the protection wheel is stiff expulsion etc.; meditating on the deity mandala is how the yogini's cause of generation is appropriate; blessing the sense bases is the cause of abiding; inviting the wisdom being and bestowing empowerment is the special cause of acting; recitation is acting; meditating on the completion stage is wisdom; the subsequent yoga is consciousness; from that, obtaining common and supreme accomplishments is how the deities arise. According to the hidden meaning: igniting inner heat or observing mudras etc. is the way of looking; descending bodhicitta is summoning; gathering the four wheels is the great symbol; binding the key points of the channels and winds is acting.
