The nature of the four joys is: the four joys of metaphor, which are characterized by the mundane, rely on the mind of enlightenment. The four joys of meaning, which are characterized by the transcendental, are the difference in the self-awareness of bliss. The order is: first, joy, supreme joy, special joy, and innate joy, in the order of arising and reversing. And the sixteen internal divisions. The faults of leakage and the methods of binding are as described above. The benefits of binding and complete purification, and the arising and reversing of cause and effect, have all been briefly summarized in the chapter on bindus. The extensive explanation is because the Victorious Vajradhara has universally proclaimed the unsurpassed tantra. Therefore, in order to purify the defilements of absorption, it is very important to bind the karma mudra. Here, it is only written briefly, not in detail. Thus it is said that this meaning should be learned in connection with the oral instructions. Fifth, the ordinary state is explained in detail, divided into three parts: nature, purification, and the fruit of abandonment and antidote. The first part is: from ordinary to re-formation. Thus it is said, the nature of consciousness in the ordinary period of the awakened state is: the alaya consciousness is formed by the afflicted mind, etc., as described in the first chapter. Through the combination of the four proximate causes, such as the root cause, the six consciousnesses, such as the eye, are connected with the six self-causes, and in the six objects, such as form (119)Appear as visible images. Because one does not recognize that it is one's own mind, the three feelings of pleasure based on pleasant objects, suffering based on unpleasant objects, and equanimity based on intermediate objects arise. And in turn, the three afflictions of desire, anger, and ignorance arise. These habits are carried by the gross mind, placed on the alaya, and relying on the habits of the action of formation, new actions of manifestation and formation are accumulated again, thereby revolving in samsara again and again. The second part is: from "This is it" to "The work is done." Thus it is said, this ordinary consciousness, when the obscurations are completely purified, is the nature of the three wisdoms. Afflictions

The complete purification of the mind of the five faculties is the unmoving other-benefiting equality wisdom. The complete purification of the sixth consciousness, which is the all-pervasive conceptualization, is the discriminating wisdom. The complete purification of the five sense consciousnesses together with their objects is the accomplishing activity wisdom. Incidentally, the complete purification of the ālaya is the mirror-like wisdom. It should also be known that the very nature of these four wisdoms, which abides from the beginning in its extremely pure nature, is the dharmadhātu wisdom. The third has two parts: abandonment, antidote, and result; and the actual binding of the key point. The first is: "From obscuration to summarized." It is said that the objects to be abandoned that obscure the meaning of reality are the coarse, fabricated ones that have entered into the corruption of philosophical tenets, which are abandoned by seeing; and the subtle, innate ones that have not entered, which are abandoned by meditation; there are two. The antidote to be abandoned is, in short, to cultivate faith in the Dharma of the Great Vehicle, the wisdom that realizes the two selflessnesses, entering the door of samādhi, and great compassion; possessing these four aspects destroys the objects to be abandoned. The main result of purifying the obscurations of the ordinary awakened state through this antidote is the nirmāṇakāya and the sambhogakāya; the pure aspect of the five sense consciousnesses and the sixth consciousness looking outward is the nirmāṇakāya. Because the movement of the active sixth consciousness and dreams are the same key point, the aspect of the sixth consciousness looking inward, which is similar to dreams, is called the sambhogakāya. Therefore, the two form bodies (रूपकाय,rūpakāya,form body) benefit beings, which is the result of purifying the awakened state. The detailed manner of these is explained in all the sūtras and tantras, so here it is only briefly explained for fear of too many words. The second is: "Therefore," etc., one verse is spoken. Because the nirmāṇakāya is attained by purifying the defilements of awakening, therefore, bind conceptual thoughts with the practice of the Dharma seal. There are many ways of explaining the Dharma seal, but the intention here is the instruction of taking the appearance of encounter as the path, that is, when the appearance of various objects such as forms arises, recognize "This is..." and do not grasp or cling to it, binding it with the seal of non-attachment, which is...
