精要。此论的传承永不磨灭，如实了悟后如法修持，愿能成就证得大圆满。听闻真俗二谛双运之精髓自性，无谬证悟甚深见。通过内外及他与彼之思，定解通达脉气明点之修持。从基果无别金刚三胜，以俱生和合三用，最初佛法身界，化现色身大云，愿能于虚空周遍轮中舒展。如是，于无上瑜伽续部海之精要，以简略之词解释甚深内义，名为“显现甚深义”之论，乃是自己根本自释的施舍部分，以及词句传承和口耳相传，以极大努力请问，并使其略可理解，于讲说传播之时，心系于教法，并由几位具广大意乐之大士，直接或间接劝请。因自释过于精炼，难以理解，且施舍部分未完全按照经文顺序，其他注释也未加入传承，且因智慧浅薄，不适合广略，又因那些将吉祥那若巴大师的六法等作为修行道用者，也无法理解这些，期望传承不绝，故虽心中想做词句解释，却因懈怠而耽搁。之后，为噶举教法之大明灯，第三世果公化身噶玛传承教法增进事业尊者，为了建立与三基之行持相关的讲说传承，作为其助缘，一切知噶玛巴父子的教法之出家者噶玛语自在功德海事业遍布吉祥贤，或慧无涯者，因年事已高，无力新造繁杂之词句，故从前辈之善说中提取要点，以易懂词简之方式，于多康噶举之座寺八蚌寂静处的修行处吉祥乐大

Essence. May the tradition of this treatise never fade, and by realizing it as it is and practicing it properly, may the great accomplishment of attaining the supreme siddha be achieved. By hearing the essence of the union of the two truths, may one understand and realize the profound view without error. Through contemplating the outer, inner, other, and suchness, may one ascertain and master the practice of channels, winds, and bindus. From the inseparable basis and result, the three supreme vajras, by enhancing the coemergent union with the three practices, from the realm of the primordial Buddha Dharmakaya, may the great clouds of the Rupakaya spread into the all-pervading wheel of space. Thus, this commentary, which explains the profound inner meaning of the essence of the ocean of Anuttarayoga Tantras with concise words, called "Illuminating the Profound Meaning," is based on the words, transmissions, and oral traditions of one's own root self-commentary, including the giving portion, which were requested with great effort and made somewhat understandable. It was composed with the intention of benefiting the teachings during explanation and propagation, and at the urging of several great beings with vast aspirations, both directly and indirectly. Because the self-commentary is too concise and difficult to understand, and the giving portion does not strictly adhere to the order of the text, and other commentaries have not incorporated the lineage, and because of the limited wisdom of those who are not suitable for extensive or concise explanations, and because those who practice the Six Dharmas of glorious Naropa as a path also cannot understand this much, hoping that the lineage will not be interrupted, although I intended to make a word-by-word explanation, I was delayed by laziness. Later, for the great illuminator of the Kagyu teachings, the third Pon Trul incarnation, Karma Kagyu Tenkyong Trinley Zhab, aiming to establish a lineage of teachings related to the practice of the three bases, as an aid to his service, Karma Ngawang Yonten Gyatso Trinley Kunkhyab Pal Zangpo, a renunciate who entered the teachings of the omniscient Karma Pas, father and son, or Lodro Thaye, being advanced in age and unable to create new and complex phrases, extracted the essence of the excellent explanations of the predecessors in an easy-to-understand and concise manner. May it be realized without any inversion, so that the self-tradition of the Kagyu essence increases and expands like the summer ocean, and become an imperishable lineage! Om Swasti. This edition was newly created in the Karma Dharma Camp. With this virtue accomplished, may it become the basis for upholding the Victorious One's teachings. May the two accumulations be as rich as hundreds of thousands of millions of oceans, may the light of wisdom illuminate the three realms, may it destroy the accumulation of ignorance and suffering equal to space, and may it establish the secret of being placed on the throne of unsurpassed and eternal bliss. The essence of being profound and vast, difficult to fathom its depths, becomes the supreme means, what opportunity is there for other abilities? The manifestation of the Dharma realm, the meaning within the phenomena, may it be thoroughly understood and reach the end of the ocean, may it become the key to unlocking knowledge, the heart's oath, the jewel on the crown. In whatever way it is necessary to tame, may it be shown in that way, and by taming the tamable, may it emit the sound of fearless breath, may it emit a roar, may it pervade the three realms and extend to the ends of the ten directions! In between, this concluding word, in the land of Sikkim, in the great camp of the glorious Rumtek Dharma, was composed by the sixteenth holder of the Karma Pa's reincarnation. May it be auspicious! May it be auspicious!
