Wind and phlegm are the putrefiers, bile is the color changer, these three abide in the nature of the three faces of the fire god. The first of them burns, the second melts, and the third purifies, so that after one day, the essence and dross are separated, and gradually transformed into essence. Second, from that essence, it is called seven. As it is said, the essence of food and drink separated from dross in the stomach, that essence passes through the four great vessels of the liver, the copper-colored vessel, the blue vessel, the short vessel, and the wise vessel, and becomes great blood, and then spreads to all the positions of the vessels. That blood, after one day of essence and dross separation, those essences produce flesh. The flesh also undergoes essence and dross separation for one day, and from that essence it becomes fat. After one day, the fat turns into bone from that essence. After one day of bone essence and dross separation, the essence becomes bone marrow. After one day of bone marrow essence and dross separation, the essence becomes semen. Thus, the essence of food and drink, etc., undergoes essence and dross separation for seven days, and the essence of these seven transformations up to the transformation into semen is called the seven essences of body nourishment in the Eight Branches of Medicine, and the seven inner births in the tantras such as the Kalachakra. Third, from the stomach to the description of saliva and mucus. As it is said, the dross of the stomach, which has been burned, melted, and purified for one day, enters the intestines and is divided into two types, thick and thin. The thick part is sequentially transmitted in the intestines and enters the excretory tract, and the thin part is collected from the vessels of the mesentery into the bladder, and then discharged from the urethra. Similarly, each day, one dross is transformed from one essence, and the dross of blood produces bile from the position of the liver, the essence of bile is the serum of the body, and the dross of bile flows downward, so the dross of bile makes the color of urine and the odor of feces yellow. The dross of flesh is skin and dirt. The dross of fat becomes glands or tumors. The dross of bone is teeth and nails. The dross of bone marrow is the dirt of the cavity (94) and saliva, mucus, and phlegm, as it is said. Fourth, from semen to the production of color. As it is said, semen

Moreover, after separating the clear and impure overnight, the impure drips from the oil spout of the central channel downwards, and also drips from places such as the doors of the senses and pores. The clear becomes the body's strength, radiance, and color. The third is to summarize the meaning, i.e., "that is," etc., one line. What has been said in this way is a general indication, just a rough explanation; the details should be understood from the commentary on the Kalachakra Tantra. Thus it is said. Fourth, the detailed explanation of the thirty-six elements is divided into two parts: how the twelve pure elements circulate, and the detailed explanation of the twenty-four impure elements. The first part is divided into two parts: the actual explanation and the citation of scriptures as proof. The first is, from "detailed explanation" to "doing." It is said that if the element of the material bindu is explained in a little more detail, there are thirty-six pure and impure elements. If explained in great detail, there are as many elements as there are channels. After this general indication, the four pure elements are: the pulse eyes through which the branch winds of the heart circulate, etc. Starting from "etc.," they are related to the consciousness of the ears, nose, and tongue, etc., and act as the main cause for holding objects such as forms, etc. Therefore, these four objects make offerings to those who have objects, and are therefore called the four offering elements. The white element that arises from the demon-free channel goes upwards and pierces the center of the uvula, thus reversing the element and reducing the white element. Therefore, it is said to be consistent with the reduction of the moon's white element on the sixteenth day of the dark fortnight. This channel and bindu also hold one aspect of the tactile element and the component of future change in terms of function, so it can be said to make tactile offerings to the body. The function of the five pure elements related to the root five winds has already been explained separately when explaining how the body is formed and the channels and winds are explained. Therefore, the function of the five pure elements related to those five channels and five winds should also be understood. When explaining the twelve pure elements, the central channel is also divided into two parts, the circulation of wind and bindu, and based on it there are two pure elements, thus there are twelve pure elements in total. How is the central channel divided into two parts? Above, the three winds of the sun, moon, and Rahu circulate, so it is one part of wind circulation. (95) Below, feces and urine
