From the bindu that accompanies the wind, red and white colors appear together, giving rise to the holding of the white element and the holding of the red element, which is called ignorance, because its self-nature is non-dual and undifferentiated, yet it is ignorant in this way. It is called bindu because it cannot be destroyed by anything as long as samsara exists. Thus, in the deluded bindu of ignorance, there are generally three kinds of bindu: mantra, wind, and substance. Specifically, each of these three can be divided into two: the object to be subdued and the subduer, making a total of six. The first is the bindu of mantra, which is the object to be subdued, grasping at the two aspects of name and meaning, transformed from the four names of ignorance, action, and consciousness, which are universally conceived as feeling, thought, action, and consciousness. The second is the method of subduing these conceptualizations, such as meditating on the deity who is the antidote to the object to be subdued, and reciting mantras, which is the bindu of mantra that is the subduer, the universally conceived. The third is that the mind is able to move freely due to the power of the three conditions: the objective condition, the immediately preceding condition, and the dominant condition, which is the function of the wind, and therefore is the bindu of wind to be subdued. The fourth is the order of binding the moving wind, which is called the bindu of wind that is the subduer. The fifth is the five things that appear as the objects of the sense consciousnesses, which are the white and red, etc., gathered by the aggregate of form, which will be explained in detail below, and these are called the five elements of the substance bindu, which is the substance bindu to be subdued. The sixth is the order of binding these pure and impure bindus, which is called the substance bindu that is the subduer, as stated by the great Vajradhara in the Kalachakra Tantra, the supreme yoga tantra. Third, the substance bindu is explained in detail in five points: the proximate cause of the intermediate state, the display of the two pure elements, the manner in which the impure elements arise, the detailed explanation of the thirty-six elements, and the order of the transference of the white element. (91) The first point is, as it is said in the scripture, "From there, as instructed." This explains that among the three bindus, the substance bindu includes the outer bindu, which is gathered by the outer world of the vessel, and the inner bindu, which is gathered by the inner vajra body, and sleep. The bindu that becomes the inner meaning is, first, at the time of conception, at the moment of connecting the consciousness of the intermediate state.

If, due to the grasping of the white and red bindus of the parents' union, one is born as self-nature, if one likes the mother and hates the father, or vice versa, one enters the womb with strong attachment. Then, the essence gradually changes, and within thirty-eight weeks, it grows like a gel, producing as explained in the second chapter above. The second part has three aspects: a general explanation, a separate explanation of the essence of white and red bindus, and an explanation of common Dharma. First, from "now" to "the two white and red," it is said. Having formed in the womb like this, now when the Vajra body exists, there exist both essence and dross. The essence is further divided into three: the essence of wind, mind, and bindu. The essence of wind has already been explained as the wind of wisdom in the fourth chapter. The essence of mind has already been explained as the stainless mind and Alaya consciousness in the first chapter. Therefore, now is the time to explain the essence of the material bindu. It is further divided into two: the white essence and the red essence, which will be explained here. The second part is divided into two parts: explaining the white essence and explaining the red essence. First, from "white essence" to "the best of all." It is said that the white essence is located at the upper end of the central channel, shaped like "ཧཾ" (Tibetan, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum), about the size of a mustard seed. The color is white and oily, clear and shiny, with great brilliance, radiating light like a pure crystal ball. Where does it come from? It comes from the father, and it is the best white essence of the father's bindu. The nature of the father Heruka is the nature of skillful means and great bliss, which can be inferred from the following words. Second, from "red essence" to "self-nature." It is said that the red essence is located at the junction of the three channels below the navel. The color is red, very hot, and bright, like the fire in the sky of a Garuda. The fire of the Garuda refers to the fire that burns from the mouth of a rocky mountain resembling the face of a horse Garuda on the seashore, which is very red and hot, surrounding it and preventing the sea from crossing. This fire is called the Garuda fire or the eternal fire. The shape of this bindu is like a short "ཨ" (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), also said to be "ཨ་ཤད་" (Tibetan, No corresponding Sanskrit, No corresponding Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: A-sha), like the vertical line of the letter "།།།" (Tibetan, No corresponding Sanskrit, No corresponding Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning: /) turned upside down.
