Because it is said that volition is action, faults such as hatred and grasping, as well as the antidote wisdom, are also said to be wind. Just as one understands that all the qualities of going beyond suffering depend on wind, having understood it in this way, one should bind the key points of the correct path sequence. As it says in the Vajra Garland Tantra: Knowing the union of winds, one goes beyond samsara to Buddhahood; if wind and conceptual thought are allowed to run wild and one follows after them, one will wander in samsara and experience suffering; if one knows how to bind the key points, because karmic wind is purified into wisdom, it can cut off that samsara, and the antidote will also be accomplished by the wind itself. Thus it is said. Third, the general conclusion is: In the outer and inner, it is the teaching. Thus it is said. In this way, all the names, entities, places, and functions of the winds that move in the outer and inner, all the Victorious Vajradhara has extensively taught in the sutras and tantras, among which those that are urgently needed by yogis on the path of pith instructions, in the section on the method of accomplishing the body and in this chapter, are taught in brief. Second, the chapter title is: In the commentary on the words of the profound inner meaning, the section on explaining the way the winds move, that is, the separate explanation of the fourth chapter. Having explained the wind in this way, in the places of the channels, the thirty-six pure and impure bindus exist like possessions controlled by the wind, and because they depend on it, bindu is explained after the channel-wind chapter. Because samsara is accomplished from the habits of transference, one must bind its moment, and if the bindu is not struck at the key point, the mind vajra cannot be accomplished. If it is struck at the key point and aroused on the path, one must understand its reality, therefore there are two ways of explaining its method: (89) The text and title of the chapter. The first has three: brief explanation, detailed explanation, and meaning summary. The first is: From "Then" to "three bindus." Thus it is said. After the wind has been explained, then the pure and impure bindus that exist depending on the channels like houses and the wind like a master, where they exist and how they move, etc., are what should be explained. How many topics will it be explained in? The root bindu free from elaboration is the nature of mind and not realizing it.

The confusion of the earth is combined with the bindu of ignorance (མ་རིག་པ,avidyā,ignorance), the substance of bondage, mantra, and the bindu of wind. In order to counteract that confusion, the order of binding the bindu and three key points will be explained. The classification of these three bindus is explained in detail in the Guhyasamaja Vajramala Tantra. The second part has five aspects: the bindu of the root free from elaboration, a brief explanation of the bindu of confused ignorance, a detailed explanation of the bindu of substance, the order of binding the antidote bindu, and incidentally explaining the elimination of faults. The first part is: From the beginning, it says, "It is said in all." The first of the three bindus, the bindu of the root free from elaboration, refers to the innate wisdom of one's own mind. The essence of the mind is emptiness, which itself is the Dharmakaya free from elaboration, the self-luminous nature itself is the Sambhogakaya, and the unceasing appearance itself is the Nirmanakaya that accomplishes everything with great compassion, which is the nature of the three bodies. The signs that these three bodies exist in sentient beings are that even now, in the stage of ordinary beings, they can be experienced through the power of practice. The sign of the Dharmakaya is that because it does not go beyond the emptiness of the essence of all phenomena, the experience of emptiness arises, and all phenomena appear as emptiness. Moreover, when observing, intellectual speculation can also understand emptiness. The sign of the Sambhogakaya is that because it does not go beyond the self-luminous nature of all phenomena, four signs appear during the day and six signs appear at night, which are the ten signs of clear awareness. The sign of the Nirmanakaya is that because the appearance of all phenomena appears without ceasing, the ability to act appears in the objects of the six senses, and the eyes can see various different things. These three are infallible signs, which are the signs that appear as objects during practice. The wisdom of the subject (90) is the nature of the consciousness related to this, so the wisdom that is inseparable from the object and the subject is the direct perception yoga that is free from conceptualization and not confused. That is the root of samsara and nirvana, the bindu that is free from all elaboration, and the detailed classification of this is explained in the sutras and tantras of the Bhagavan. The second part is: From confusion, it says, "It is said in the tantra." That is, the root is free from elaboration.
