In the manner of profound exposition, because all the classifications of winds are complete therein, therefore they should be explained in order. Thus it is said. Second, the fivefold extensive explanation: the nature of what is produced and what produces, the function of abiding with actions, the order of moving inside and outside with actions, the benefit and merit of entry, all of samsara and nirvana are explained as the nature of wind. The first has two: showing and explaining. The first is: Wind is, and so on, born from this. Thus it is said, the basis of all samsara and nirvana is the great primordial indestructible, which when spoken of as wind, is life, abiding in the nature of short A (藏文:ཨ་ཐུང་།,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:short A), therefore the words that can be spoken also arise from this, and breath and mercury, staff and seasons, etc. also arise from this, and all letters such as vowels and consonants are also born from this, so although it cannot be spoken, it is the basis of all speech. In the Name Utterance it says: A is the best of all letters, the sacred letter of great meaning, born from the heart, unborn, abandoning words, the cause of all speech, making all words very clear. Thus it is said, if we consider letters, the root of all vowels and consonants is A, and if we consider wind, the root of all ten winds is the life wind, having the form of A, and if we consider wisdom, the supreme unchanging great bliss is called A, therefore the wind that is the root or basis of all dharmas is the A called life itself, from which all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana appear. The second has three: the nature of the five root winds, the nature of the five branch winds, the manner of what is produced and what produces. The first is: In the beginning, and so on, transforms into uru. Thus it is said, when this vajra body is formed, first in the middle of white and red, relying on the alaya consciousness of the seed, from the movement of the mind of the aggregate of formation, the wind called great life arises, becoming the basis of the body, consciousness, and warmth of sentient beings, therefore it is established, among the five letters, having the form of short A (藏文:ཨ་ཐུང་།,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:short A), among the five elements, it is the nature of the element of space, from this

如博之风是风元素,变成字母e(藏文:ཨེ་,梵文天城体:ए,梵文罗马拟音:e,汉语字面意思:e)。赤色之风是火元素,是字母ār(藏文:ཨཱར་,梵文天城体:आर्,梵文罗马拟音:ār,汉语字面意思:ār)本身。施与天之风是水元素和字母o(藏文:ཨོ་,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:o,汉语字面意思:o)。财增之风是土元素和字母āl(藏文:ཨཱལ་,梵文天城体:आल्,梵文罗马拟音:āl,汉语字面意思:āl)之相。 第三,生起和收摄之理有两种:真实和,与那耶谢多杰昆雷堆巴之圣教结合。第一是,最初从,十十而说。如此说,在胎中金刚身形成之时,诸风最初生起命风a(藏文:ཨ་,梵文天城体:अ,梵文罗马拟音:a,汉语字面意思:a)字之相。

The downward-clearing wind, in terms of the five elements, is the earth element, and in terms of the five letters, it is in the form of the letter ḷī (Tibetan: ལྀ་, Devanagari: ली, Romanized Sanskrit: lī, literal Chinese meaning: ḷī). The upward-moving wind, in terms of the five elements, is the fire element, and in terms of the five letters, it is in the form of the letter ṛī (Tibetan: རྀ་, Devanagari: ऋ, Romanized Sanskrit: ṛī, literal Chinese meaning: ṛī). The wind that dwells with fire, in terms of the five elements, is the wind element, and in terms of the five letters, it is called the letter ī (Tibetan: ཨི་, Devanagari: इ, Romanized Sanskrit: i, literal Chinese meaning: i). (67) The pervasive wind, in terms of the five elements, is the water element, and in terms of the five letters, it transforms into the letter ū (Tibetan: ཨུ་, Devanagari: उ, Romanized Sanskrit: u, literal Chinese meaning: u). The reason for establishing it in this way is that the great life-wind, which is the root of all, is the great space, the nature of the five letters, and also because of the meaning that others arise from its qualities. Secondly, the nature of the five branch winds is: from then on, wealth increases. Thus it is said, from then on, the element and nature of the five branch winds are: the dragon wind is produced by the earth element, therefore it is the nature of wisdom. The letter of space is long ā (Tibetan: ཨཱ་, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, literal Chinese meaning: ā). The wind of Ru Spal is the wind element, and it transforms into the letter e (Tibetan: ཨེ་, Devanagari: ए, Romanized Sanskrit: e, literal Chinese meaning: e). The red wind is the fire element, and it is the letter ār (Tibetan: ཨཱར་, Devanagari: आर्, Romanized Sanskrit: ār, literal Chinese meaning: ār) itself. The wind of Lha Sbyin is the water element and the letter o (Tibetan: ཨོ་, Devanagari: ओ, Romanized Sanskrit: o, literal Chinese meaning: o). The wind of Nor Las Gyal is the earth element and is in the form of the letter āl (Tibetan: ཨཱལ་, Devanagari: आल्, Romanized Sanskrit: āl, literal Chinese meaning: āl). Thirdly, there are two ways of arising and gathering: the actual and, combined with the teachings of That Yeshe Dorje Kunle Dupe. The first is: initially from, said in tens. Thus it is said, at the time when the vajra body is formed in the womb, the first of the winds to arise is the life-wind in the form of the letter a (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, literal Chinese meaning: a). In the second month, the downward-clearing wind arises from the life-wind, representing it. Between the second and tenth months, one wind arises in each month in sequence, gradually generating the power of the ten winds. Now the five root winds act as the basis for the five aggregates, and the five branch winds act as the basis for the five senses, etc., for the body to remain and move, and for speech and expression, and for the functions of excreting and retaining urine and feces, etc. The final gathering is based on a person living to be a hundred years old. Ten years after birth, the power of the Nor Las Gyal wind is gathered into the Lhas Byin wind, etc., and the power of each wind is gathered every ten years. Here, some commentators say that initially, when arising, the downward-clearing wind arises from the life-wind, and the upward-moving wind arises from the downward-clearing wind, etc., with the latter arising sequentially from the former, and at the time of gathering, after ten years
