Furthermore, the Great Perfection, from the Kun Byed, states: The non-conceptual, sky-like Dharmakaya. I am non-conceptual, without acceptance or rejection. Without acceptance or rejection, it is like the sky. Just as the sky is without acceptance or rejection, Kuntuzangpo is without acceptance or rejection. The absence of acceptance or rejection is gathered into me. So it is said. The essence is without cause and effect, and from that it also says: Bodhichitta is the nature of the sky. The sky has no cause and effect. So it is said. Also, from the Singe Tsal Dzog, it says: With virtue, one does not realize the meaning of the Buddha. If one realizes the meaning of the Buddha with virtue, then the abiding nature of Dzogchen would become false. With sin, one will not fall into samsara. If one falls into samsara with sin, then self-arisen wisdom would become false. So it is said. The refutation of that string is: That the lower vehicles teach that there is virtue and sin, is because they themselves have not realized the true meaning, and cling to it as if it exists, and due to delusion, it appears as virtue and sin. In reality, there is no virtue or sin in the nature of Bodhichitta. It is like when one is afflicted with a fever, whatever deluded appearances arise, in reality they do not exist. The example of the phenomena of arising and ceasing is like the unborn, which cannot be taken; the example of a sprout arising from a seed is like the sky, which cannot be taken. The example of the delusion of cause and effect, one should know that the meaning of the essence of mind itself cannot be taken. From the Kun Byed, it says: The Great Perfection, because it has always transcended cause and effect, searching and striving, there is no accomplishment of the uncreated. The teacher who proclaims the view of cause and effect, establishes standards on the phenomena of worldly signs, searches for cause and effect, and thereby accomplishes the result. From the mind, there is no cause, and from the beginning, there is no result. Because Bodhichitta has no birth, taking the phenomena of worldly beings as an example, do not falsely impute that destruction arises from birth. If one does not realize that self-arisen has transcended cause and effect, and establishes standards on the phenomena of worldly signs, saying that the result arises from searching for the cause, that is their own doctrine of cause and effect. O great Bodhisattva, listen! What is shown as wisdom, wisdom, is self-arisen wisdom, unobstructed, equal to all. That unequaled wisdom, which did not arise from cause, all beings' birth, the Dharma does not arise from elsewhere. Establishing standards on the phenomena of worldly cause and effect, searching, the non-existent result will not arise. Because Bodhichitta is not produced by cause, do not impose standards on the phenomena of worldly arising and ceasing.

Since Bodhicitta is not produced by conditions, it does not take the phenomena of worldly birth and death as examples. O Great Bodhisattva! If you desire greatness and strive in meditation and practice, that greatness will not be achieved through meditation and practice. Greatness is self-born primordial wisdom, it has been so from the beginning. Thus it is said. Like common things, there is no need to achieve Buddhahood through cause and effect, because achievement is never accomplished. Everyone agrees that unconditioned Dharmakaya is the fruit. If it were achieved through effort, it would become conditioned, and thus impermanent. Therefore, all the Buddhas of the three times agree that achievement comes from leaving things as they are, uncorrected. From that very state it says: Buddhahood is not achieved by striving, but is spontaneously accomplished by abiding in its natural state without seeking. Abide without conceptual thought in the natural state without seeking. Thus it is said. Furthermore, all the Buddhas of the three times are none other than Bodhicitta. The Buddhas of the past, having seen and realized their own mind without artifice. The Buddhas who now abide, having realized their own mind as it is, without artifice, also perform the deeds of benefiting beings. The Buddhas who will come in the future, for this self-arisen mind-essence, there is no prophecy of prior correction. Now, the precious mind is not corrected. Having entered the path without artifice, they will come. For all the phenomena that appear, if one does not realize them as Bodhicitta, then correction and striving will not accomplish it. If one corrects without realization, it will be accomplished. Even if one counts countless eons, one will not encounter effortless bliss. Alas! Since the three kayas are uncorrected from the mind, in the sutras and agamas that teach the three kayas, if the meaning of correction arises, that is, the three kayas of the teacher, are not teaching their own nature. Likewise, no matter how the teacher who teaches correction reveals the truth, it is not definitive, but provisional. Thus it is said. Maintaining the state of mind with insight: Thus, the naked Dharmakaya of awareness, transcending cause and effect, good and evil, cutting off all dharmas, the meaning beyond mind, without thinking or contemplating, when one abides naturally in one's own place, it is self-luminous and clear. Empty and clear, primordially clear and radiant, this is it. Therefore, in that state, without correction or adulteration, naturally abiding, serenely, self-liberated, relaxed, naturally pure, at ease in its own place. The five senses naturally.
