Like a seed falling on the ground, proceeding with the ten natures will also fall. My own nature, definitively points out the source, because I transcend all realms of activity. Just as there is no view to be meditated upon, similarly, the ten natures are also meaningless. If one does not realize that the ten natures have meaning, I am not an object to be seen by looking, do not look, abide in suchness itself. Free from elaboration, unborn, without a cause for separation, there is no need to guard vows and precepts. Because the essence is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning, there is no need for effort and practice. Because self-arisen wisdom is without obscuration, there is no need to newly generate the wisdom of awareness. Because everything abides in my realm, there is no realm to be traversed through cultivation. Because I abide pervading everything, There is no path to make me proceed. Because I am primordially free from grasping and being grasped, I cannot be named as "subtle." Because my form pervades everything, What is called "two" does not exist at all. Because I am primordially self-arisen wisdom, I cannot be determined by anyone. Because I am the essence of enlightenment for all, There are no secret instructions from elsewhere. Thus it is said. In the Meeting of the Three Kayas: In the vast expanse of ceaseless birth and destruction, free from action, like a golden island, a realm without differentiation. Dispelling the darkness of the edges, the root is bodhicitta, although bodhicitta does not abandon the four extremes, the extremes cannot touch it, and it forcefully cuts off the wrong path. Thus it is said. Now, explaining that awareness transcends good, evil, cause, and effect: The essence of meaning, awareness is pure and stainless, because it cannot be altered, good cannot benefit it. Because it cannot be transformed, evil cannot harm it, because there is no karma and result, there is no happiness or suffering of ripening. Because there is no good or bad, there is no abandoning or taking, samsara or nirvana, because there is no thought or speech, it is separate from space. Because there is no before or after, life is merely a fabrication, who takes what, who revolves where? What karma, what is its ripening fruit? One should contemplate and examine the meaning like space. Here, in the precious book with golden letters, one should look closely at the meaning of awareness, are there ten virtues to be practiced? Are there vows to be kept? Are there views, meditations, practices, and results to be experienced? Are there ripened results, karma, and lower realms? And so on.

As it is said, for this naked awareness, the Dharmakaya, whatever good is done does not become better, so there is no benefit; whatever evil is done cannot be transformed into worse, so there is no harm. Since its own nature is not established in any way, there is no karma and its ripening, no happiness or suffering, no good or bad. Since there is no past or future life and no cause and effect of karma, samsara is merely a name. For those who do not realize that awareness abides in such a way, samsara appears as happiness and suffering. For a yogi, all exhaustion is called the exhaustion of dharma, emptiness, and primordial purity. In the state of awareness, samsara and nirvana, good and evil, appear like dreams, but since they do not stain its own nature, there is no cause and effect of good and evil. Because of that absence, there is no past or future life, and since the nature of birth is exhausted, the three realms are empty in the great primordial purity, which is called the great emptying of samsara. Thus, by abiding in the nature of awareness, the yogi who contemplates awareness, when placing the meaning in its own nature, whatever good or evil is done has not even a particle of benefit or harm, because it is mixed as one with reality. Therefore, the best of yogis, since there is no good or evil, freely engages in appearances, because awareness is self-appearing and there is nothing other than that, so one never deviates from self-awareness. This principle is believed through the twelve vajra laughs. In the Tantra of the Heap of Jewels: Emaho! Essence of the Vajra of Speech of all Buddhas, look at the self-born wisdom of view! It is wonderful to transcend good and evil, view and meditation. Without moving the base, whatever actions of body and speech are done are free from benefit and harm, haha! Emaho! Vajra of Speech, look at the way things naturally abide! This appearance does not change its fur or color, it is wonderful! No matter how happiness and suffering are thought about, there is no change in meaning, haha! Emaho! Vajra of Speech, look at the wisdom of the great emptiness, the source of all! Whatever diverse actions of thought and intention are done, they arise as play, it is wonderful! No matter how it is done, it is released without obstruction in the realm of the unborn, haha! Emaho! Vajra of Speech, listen again! Look at the wisdom of the all-pervading emptiness of dharmata! It is wonderful to abide together from the beginning with the unborn. Even if a person takes up a sharp weapon and kills all beings at once, there is no benefit or harm to that person's mindstream, haha! Emaho! Vajra of Speech!
