The First Chapter: An Explanation Establishing That All Dharmas Are Inexpressible. The First Chapter: An Explanation Establishing That All Dharmas Are Inexpressible. ༄༅། །Herein is the commentary called "The Precious Treasury of Reality," an explanation of the essential meaning of the Three Sections. In Sanskrit: Tathātvatnakoṣanāmavṛtti. In Tibetan: The Explanation Called "The Precious Treasury of Reality." Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! From the beginning, the spontaneously accomplished realm of perfect qualities, The primordial protector who is the glory of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, To the victorious ones, vidyādharas, dharma kings, and lamas, I pay homage with a thousand petals of faith fluttering. The pinnacle of vehicles, supremely excellent, From the vast expanse of the Heart Drop of Manifestation, the secret instructions, The condensed essence, the ultimate definitive meaning, I will clearly explain the commentary on the Precious Treasury of Reality. When glorious Samantabhadra awakened to all dharmas on the primordial ground, and remained in the vajra realm of great equality, the supreme fruit of turning the wheel of dharma of definitive meaning is the wisdom, the mind of awakening, the dharmakāya, the thusness that is accomplished, free from elimination, transference, and change. It is the great secret that manifestly shows transcendence of cause and effect, effort and accomplishment. The ultimate state of certainty is gathered into one, the instruction manual called "The Precious Treasury of Reality." Here, the state of that very thing will be clarified. For now, first, the homage: The basis for primordial Buddhahood, manifest awakening, The unchanging, spontaneously accomplished vajra essence, The very nature of mind, the Great Perfection, I pay homage because there is no acceptance or rejection, going or coming. Thus it is said. This verse establishes the vajra realm of this treatise, and the essence of the meaning is self-arisen wisdom, the spontaneously accomplished Buddha as the basis, the unchanging dharmadhātu, the self-luminous nature of mind, the Great Perfection. It shows homage in a way that is free from acceptance and rejection, expansion and contraction, remaining in its own place, unmoved from the nature of reality. The self-arisen wisdom, the Great Perfection, is beyond all limitations and partiality, beyond all accomplishment and elimination, effort and striving. From the tantra of the Great Self-Arisen Awareness: E (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)
