Naturally arising within. Upon receiving empowerment in the perception of solid essence in a single moment, one will become the master of all mandalas of Samantabhadra. Thus it is said. The instruction on the bond that transcends cause, effect, effort, and accomplishment is as follows: Samsara is merely a name; cause, effect, effort, and accomplishment are transcended. There is no good or evil, benefit or harm; it is the state of emptiness. Liberation is merely a name; there is no nirvana. The ten aspects of self-nature are without effort or accomplishment. The meaning of the nature of awareness is that, in the absence of cause, effect, good, and evil, those who rely on definitive scriptures to demonstrate and cling to their existence will never be liberated, because they are obscured by the stain of universal ignorance. In the Great Perfection of self-nature, one should realize that cause, effect, good, and evil are transcended. As the Great Garuda says: In the mind of self-nature, which has never been created from the beginning, the ultimate essence of memory, thought, and intellect is revealed. With words of wisdom, protect the self-truth. Those who are skilled in words and prioritize cause and effect, who else is there other than those who suffer in the uninterrupted hell? Those who fabricate body and speech and cling to them with the mind, what other antidote is superior to obscuring the truth of dharmata? Therefore, if the uncreated samsara and nirvana are ever free from action and effort, then what else is there other than the Great Perfection itself? Thus it is said. The ten aspects of self-nature are: View, Samaya, Empowerment, Mandala, Ground, Path, Activity, Wisdom, Fruit, and Dharmata. Realizing that these ten are non-existent is the view of the Great Perfection. The All-Creating King says: The mind of enlightenment is like the sky. In the nature of mind, which is like the sky, there is no view to meditate on, no samaya to protect, no activity to exert, no wisdom to obscure, no ground to purify, no path to traverse, no subtle dharma, no dualistic connection, no definitive scripture to ascertain in the mind, no resolution, and no repetition of instructions because it has transcended addition and subtraction. This is the view of the Great Perfection, the mind of enlightenment. Thus it is said. And, O Great Bodhisattva, the teaching that there is no view to meditate on is because the root of dharma does not arise from elsewhere, because there is no self to observe with self, because I have not shown a realm without self. Therefore, it is said that there is no view to meditate on. The teaching that there is no samaya to protect is because protection cannot overcome, it cannot overcome one's own mind, because it is self-arisen wisdom, there is nothing to protect. The teaching that there is no activity to exert is because the Great Perfection is cause and effect.

Because it is beyond from the very beginning. Desiring the fruit after accomplishing activities from causes, because Dzogchen has no desire for fruit, because activities are without effort from the very beginning. It is shown that activities are without effort. What is shown as not traversing on the path is that for the Buddhas of the three times and sentient beings of the three realms, traversing is traversing the path of Bodhicitta. In the mind, there is no duality of Buddha and sentient beings, therefore, mind has no path to traverse on mind. What is shown as not purifying on the ground is that on this ground of Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta, desiring liberation through purification is causal. On this ground of Dharmadhatu Bodhicitta, I have not shown this teaching of purification, transformation, and accomplishment. What is shown as not conceptualizing in the realm of wisdom is that realm is self-arisen wisdom from the very beginning. For wisdom, there is no realm of wisdom. Thus it is. What is shown as the bond of the meaning of non-action is that for the tiring Dharma, repeated effort and exertion are like a child's mud house, which is the nature of destruction. Therefore, all efforts of cause and effect, virtue and vice, are bound from the very beginning in the bond of non-existence. Just as building and destroying sandcastles in a child's play, the nature of gradually gathering into emptiness after arising, etc., which is established in conventional truth, all the Dharmas of the three doors' effort and practice are the same as that, with the clinging to non-existence in ultimate truth. All virtue, vice, cause, and effect are bound by the yogi in the great non-action that transcends movement and effort. As the great Garuda said: "No one sees the reason for not looking at the mind. Therefore, what is the use of virtue without sin for this?" And in the Kunje Sutra it says: "Because there is nothing to do with Dharma, enter through the door of no effort." And, O Great Bodhisattva! By desiring greatness and practicing diligently, greatness is not achieved by practicing diligently. Greatness is self-arisen and great from the very beginning. If you meditate, you are correcting the Buddha's intention. Whoever corrects the Buddha's intention will not meet their own nature for an eon. O Great Bodhisattva! Do not meditate on the Samadhi of the mind. Do not conceptualize in the realm of wisdom. There is no need to recite mantras and essences with the mouth. There is no need to make mudras with the hands. The mind does not perform the work of the self-nature's expansion and contraction. By abiding in its own state, it is spontaneously accomplished without movement, oneself.
