As a virtue, all dharmadhatu or basis are spontaneously present from the beginning. In the "Three Times Decided," it says: From the spontaneously present, without direction, without inside or outside, the limitless awareness at the end is as vast as the sky. Without limitation, the expanse of dharmata is spread, without top or bottom, without direction or boundary, it pervades everywhere. Not born, not ceasing, it gathers into a single bindu. From one, the nine desires arise, so there is no end. Without increase or decrease, it is a treasure trove of precious jewels. And in the "Meeting of the Three Kayas," it says: From the spontaneously present space, the basis from which all arises, are the body, speech, and mind, the wheel of ornaments. Since qualities and activities arise without direction, the wish-fulfilling jewel is the dharmadhatu. Without searching, all is spontaneously present. And in the "All-Creating King," it says: The essence of all, this bodhichitta, is spontaneously present in its own nature from the beginning. Therefore, it is not necessary to seek and practice with the ten natures. Thus, the great spontaneously present ground appearance is shown. As phenomena and existence appear from the nature of space, from bodhichitta, samsara and nirvana arise without obstruction. As various dreams arise from sleep, the six realms and three worlds arise from the nature of mind. From the time of arising, all dharmas are the nature of awareness. Emptiness, spontaneously present, is the great ground appearance. As the environment and beings appear from the nature of space, samsara and nirvana arise from the nature of awareness as unobstructed energy. From what energy does it arise? Just as dreams arise from the energy of sleep, from the part of awareness, ignorance arises as the energy of the eight consciousnesses, and the sentient beings of the three realms appear as the environment and beings. Just as delusions appear from the energy of feverish illness, from the confusion of mind, the appearance of samsara arises naturally, but at the time of arising, it is pure as the self-appearance of emptiness. As it says in the "Meeting of the Three Kayas": From the spontaneously present space, the basis from which all arises, all sentient beings, appearing as form, are the body without direction, appearing as the wheel of ornaments. Sounds, high, medium, and low, are also speech without direction, appearing as the wheel of ornaments. All are inseparable, the essence of ultimate reality is one, it is the mind without direction, appearing as the wheel of ornaments. Thus, the non-dual spontaneously present is shown. The basis and the way the ground appearance arises are also the nature of being free from one and many, spontaneously present from the beginning, arising from the door of awareness.

Ra. In the skill of play, the two aspects of samsara and nirvana, although appearing as pure and impure separately, at the very moment of appearance, their essence is one taste, without good or bad. The fundamental awareness, which is the mind of enlightenment, is the great spontaneously accomplished emptiness and clarity. Within the nature of that fundamental appearance, all the phenomena that appear, all the phenomena of existence, samsara, and nirvana, arise from the gate of spontaneous accomplishment, appearing as good and bad, but since the essence is one taste without good or bad, it is beyond one and many, and is called the state of self-arisen wisdom. As it is said in "The Single Determination of the Three Times": "Gathered into one, all are the essence of one; the only unborn, the dharma realm is unborn; from the unborn realm, various miraculous manifestations arise; nothing is certain, nowhere is there a limit." And as it is said in "The All-Creating King": "The body of the Buddha, wisdom, qualities, and the bodies and habitual tendencies of sentient beings, etc., all that is included in appearance, existence, vessel, and essence, are originally the nature of the mind of enlightenment." So it is. The spontaneously accomplished great three kayas are shown as follows: When five lights arise uninterruptedly from a crystal, although the lights are perceived as different colors, there is no good or bad, it is the function of a single crystal ball. The basis of self-awareness is like a crystal ball; its emptiness is the nature of the dharmakaya; its clarity is its own radiance, the sambhogakaya; the uninterrupted gate of the basis of appearance is the nirmanakaya. The three kayas are spontaneously accomplished in the basic realm. Just as the crystal and the five lights within it are of one essence, without good or bad, so the emptiness of awareness, like a crystal, is the dharmakaya; the clarity of awareness, like the five lights within it, is the sambhogakaya; just as the crystal has the potential to appear outwardly but has not yet appeared, the uninterrupted aspect of the gate of appearance is the nirmanakaya. Since the nature of the three kayas of the basis is one, there is no good or bad in meaning. The form kaya that arises from that is the appearance to be tamed, and the dharmakaya is also without good or bad, it is the mind of enlightenment, and its appearance is the miraculous manifestation of one awareness. As it is said in "The All-Creating King": "The All-Creating One, I am the nature of the three kayas, abiding in non-conceptual equality, is the nature of the dharmakaya free from elaboration. The miraculous manifestation of the arising of nature is the sambhogakaya arising from desire. The work of benefiting beings by taming them with compassion, that is the nature of the nirmanakaya." So it is. As it is said in "The All-Clear": "Like the body of Manjushri, the nature is completely pure, without
