Etc., these are definite. Thus it is said. Furthermore, having known suffering, there is nothing else to be known, etc., this is knowing non-arising. The so-called "there is nothing to be fully known," etc. It is considered the wisdom of non-arising. Thus it is said. Thus, one who possesses two kinds of wisdom is an Arhat, of two kinds: with remainder and without remainder. Arhat with remainder refers to not having abandoned the aggregates of clinging, therefore a small remainder of the truth of suffering remains, so one strictly guards the senses from objects. On the basis of the Arhat with remainder, one realizes the selflessness of wisdom, and even though one has abandoned what is to be abandoned in the three realms. Because one has not obtained the adornments of magical powers, etc., through meditation, Arhats are of two kinds: without adornments and with adornments having obtained these. There are also two kinds, distinguished from the perspective of abandonment and the sense faculties. The first is the Arhat who is liberated from both aspects, and liberated from the aspect of wisdom, in order: through the power of wisdom and samadhi, liberated from the two obscurations of the afflictions of the three realms and the obscuration of absorption, and liberated from the obscuration of afflictions but not liberated from absorption. The obscuration of afflictions is the three poisons, etc., which cause all afflictions, and the obscuration of absorption is agitation and sinking, etc., which obstruct samadhi. That is, the obscuration of absorption that obstructs the cause of arising is the obscuration prior to samadhi, and what obstructs the abiding of the result is those that do not give rise to the present mind. Although this has the same name as the Great Vehicle, the meaning is different. Distinguished from the perspective of the sense faculties, there are six: one who is subject to decline, one who is subject to self-harm, one who is subject to protection, one who is subject to abiding without moving, one who has a share of realization, and one who is subject to non-regression. The first is one whose faculties are dull and who declines from the blissful abiding of seeing the Dharma. That is, declining from the bliss of meditation. The second is one whose faculties are dull, and if one harms oneself, one does not decline, but if one does not harm oneself, one declines. Transforming life into enjoyment, that is, one who is subject to thinking about death. The third is one whose faculties are dull, and if one is intoxicated, one declines from the blissful abiding, but if one is not intoxicated, one does not decline. That is, whether or not one's mind is distracted by desirable qualities. The fourth is one whose faculties are dull, even in blissful abiding
