According to the Abhidharmakosha, nineteen refers to: one hundred and nineteen moments. Then, by meditating once on the aspect of impermanence, great forbearance is perfected. Then, by meditating once, the supreme dharma is perfected. Then, seeing impermanence, the forbearance of knowing the dharma arises towards suffering. Furthermore, for those who decline due to laziness, meditating twice on the aspect of suffering perfects the intermediate forbearance, just as before. The second is the case where the aspect of view is greater. Abandoning any one of the first two aspects, meditate on three. Then, abandoning the first two, meditate on the last two. Among these two, if there is more attachment to the view of "mine," meditating twice on the aspect of emptiness perfects the intermediate forbearance. If there is more attachment to the view of "self," meditating twice on the aspect of selflessness perfects the intermediate forbearance. Similarly, great forbearance and the supreme dharma are the same as before. Thus, after the perfection of the path of joining, the sixteen moments of the path of seeing arise in sequence. Among these, the first fifteen are the path of seeing, as the Abhidharmakosha says: "Among them, the fifteen moments are the path of seeing because of seeing what was not seen." The sixteenth is also the path of meditation and is also the antidote to severing what is abandoned by seeing. What is abandoned by seeing refers to the conceptually constructed objects to be abandoned by the path of seeing. If divided in terms of essence, there are six, as the Abhidharmakosha says: "There are six roots of existence, subtle and gross: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, views, and doubt. These are the six." If divided in terms of object, realm, and the manner of wrong engagement, the Hearers-Specific Speakers take the four truths as their object. In the three realms, with the five views and five non-views, they engage wrongly in ten stages. The five views are: the view of the aggregates, the view of extremes, wrong view, the view of holding views as supreme, and the view of holding ethics and asceticism as supreme. The five non-views are: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, and doubt. How do they engage? As the Abhidharmakosha says: "These ten and seven, seven, eight, except for three views." That is, except for the first two and the last view, two do not engage in the first two, but the others do engage, so there are thirty-two in the desire realm. In the two upper realms, because anger is reduced, it is the aspect of the four truths.

Therefore, twenty-eight and eight, totaling eighty-eight, are considered to be abandoned by seeing. Among these, regarding the nature of suffering in the desire realm, there are ten ways of inverted clinging. Five are the ways of direct clinging, and five are the ways of clinging due to inversion. The first is that with the view of the perishable aggregate, one clings to the truth of suffering as self and what belongs to self. With the view of extremes, one clings to existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation. With wrong view, one clings to non-existence. With ignorance, one clings without knowing its characteristics. With doubt, one clings while doubting whether these five aggregates are the truth of suffering or not. The second five are based on the five views, where desire clings to and is attached to the five views. Pride becomes arrogant and conceited. View of holding as supreme clings to it as sacred. Clinging to ethics and asceticism clings to them as pure liberation. Anger becomes angry when hearing the view of selflessness, which is contrary to the five views. Similarly, regarding the origin and cessation in the desire realm, except for the view of the perishable aggregate, the view of extremes, and the view of holding ethics and asceticism as supreme, the remaining seven cling in an inverted way as described in the truth of suffering. For the path, except for the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of extremes, the remaining eight cling in an inverted way as described before, so the four truths of the desire realm total thirty-two. In the upper realms of form and formless realms, anger is abandoned, and the rest are calculated in the same way. Thus, the result is "nine, six, six, seven." Therefore, twenty-eight and eight total fifty-six, and adding the previous thirty-two, there are eighty-eight in total. According to the Sautrantika school, there are ten for the truth of suffering in the desire realm, and for the remaining three truths, except for the two views of the perishable aggregate and the extremes, the remaining eight cling, so there are thirty-four. In the upper realms of form and formless realms, the four angers focused on the four truths are abandoned, thirty plus thirty, so it is considered to be ninety-four. In the summary of 'Definitive Elimination': For the origin, except for the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of extremes, the remaining eight afflictions are inverted clinging, and it is the same for the truth of cessation and the path.
