Irreversible. (Thus it is said.) Endowed with immeasurable samadhi and dharani, etc. As it says in that very text: 'Of samadhi and dharani, etc., it is just like a treasure.' (Thus it is said.) The activity is to show various bodily riches within the circle and to rain down the rain of Dharma. As it says in that very text: 'In the mandalas of the circles, it shows all riches, and cuts off all doubts, and pours down the great rain of Dharma.' (Thus it is said.) The nature of the wisdom of accomplishing activities is the wisdom of accomplishing various benefits for sentient beings by emanating immeasurable emanations. As it says in that very text: 'The wisdom of accomplishing activities is various in all realms, and by immeasurable, inconceivable emanations, it accomplishes the benefit of all sentient beings.' (Thus it is said.) The activity is to perform inconceivable benefits for those to be tamed. As it says in the Ornament of the Sutras: 'The Buddha's emanations are always, in the distinctions of accomplishing activities, and in all aspects of number and field, to be known as inconceivable.' (Thus it is said.) Third, the way of knowing the knowable of that wisdom is twofold: abandoning the inverted ways and establishing the correct view. The first has three parts. Some Madhyamikas think that the Buddha has no wisdom, so there is no knowing of wisdom, because the knowable is elaboration, and because it is separate from it. And, knowledge is the object pervaded by ignorance, because the pervader, ignorance, reverses, so the object pervaded, knowledge, also reverses. As it says in the Entering: 'That cessation of mind is directly realized by the body.' Thus it is said. If you ask, that is not reasonable, because with respect to the emptiness Dharmakaya, neither the existence nor the non-existence of wisdom is established, so even if you posit it as existent, it is prevented, and it is the same to think it is non-existent, so non-existence is also not reasonable. With respect to the appearance Rupakaya, because it is necessary to appear in order to do benefit after the sentient beings to be tamed appear, so wisdom must also appear. And, although all the tenets posited, such as the knowable and the knower, are elaborations, the objects of the phenomena that appear without being posited by anyone cannot be posited as elaborations. Because even worldly people acknowledge this, it is not reasonable to prevent it. As it says in the Sutra of Accordance with the World: 'Whatever worldly people acknowledge as existent, I also posit as existent.' And so on, it is said.

Clarity is the basis of ignorance, but not pervasive, so when ignorance is reversed, clarity will not be reversed, just as a house rests on the ground. It is said that the Dharmakaya of the Buddha is manifested through clarity, that is, "When the mind ceases, that body is directly realized," and you also agree with this. Although the mind ceases, wisdom does not cease, and the supreme being above it always exists. Otherwise, on what does the mind cease? If it is said that cessation is like the sky, then it would be the same as the materialists. Therefore, mind, mental factors, and alaya consciousness, which are included in the eight consciousnesses, cease upon clarity and wisdom. In the commentary on the Entering the Middle Way, it is also said, "What is done for this purpose is that the Bhagavan attained unsurpassed wisdom in the Akanistha heaven," so it is reasonable to say that there is wisdom. Secondly, some Mind-Only scholars also believe that it is unreasonable for the Buddha's wisdom to know external objects. If it is known with aspects, it will become the grasper and the grasped. If it is known without the appearance of aspects, it is too extreme. This statement is also unreasonable. In your system, there will be no omniscient wisdom, because the appearance of external objects is not perceived, and the observation of aspects and non-aspects on consciousness is the same. Thirdly, some proponents of reality in the two truths believe that the Buddha's wisdom actually manifests the impure, deluded appearances of samsara as self-characterized. That is known by the knowledge of suchness. If it is not known, then the impure vessel and contents should not be knowable, because they are not seen by the omniscient wisdom. What is not seen by the Buddha is not knowable. This is pervasive. The Ornament for Clear Realization says, "Why? Because the Buddha, having known, has not seen all phenomena." And the Pramāṇaviniścaya says, "What is seen by the omniscient is not seen anywhere else." Therefore, it is established. Therefore, they say that although the impure is seen, it is not tainted by the fault of delusion. This is also not true. Let alone the Buddha's wisdom, the pure three grounds, because the five sense consciousnesses have undergone transformation, it is said that they have power over the pure Buddha-field. The Ornament of the Sutras says, "Mind, grasping, and various"
