It is precisely because of this that the Dharmakaya is immutable, spontaneously accomplished and unconditioned from the beginning, and exists for the sake of the immeasurable merit of those to be tamed as long as samsara exists. As the Uttaratantra says: "The Lord of Dharma destroys the Mara of death, Because of emptiness of essence, the Protector of the world is eternal." It also says, having attained the state of deathlessness and peace, Because the Lord of Death has no movement. By the nature of being unconditioned, The Thubpa is completely pacified from the beginning. In order to be the constant refuge for those without refuge, For the sake of being the protector and so forth. The permanence of the Rupakaya, Is shown by the latter three. The Dharmakaya is indeed permanent. The Nirmanakaya is for the sake of those to be tamed, without moving from the realm of the Sambhogakaya and the state of Dharmata, it appears in various ways as long as samsara exists, so it is called the great permanence. As it says in the same text: "Entering the path of peace in the world, The Rupakaya that is the cause of complete maturation and prophecy. Whatever it is, it is eternally present here, Like the realm of form in the realm of space." That is to say, if there are beings to be tamed, it exists; if there are none, it does not exist, like the moon in water. Even if there is a Buddha, if there is no merit created for the Buddha, it is like a rotten seed that cannot grow. As the Abhisamayalankara says: "When the continuum is completely ripened, For whom and what, and at what time, Action brings benefit, For him and it, it will appear. Even if the king of the gods sends down rain, An unsuitable seed will not sprout. Even if the Buddhas have come, those without fortune will not experience goodness." There are also three kinds of Nirmanakaya, as the Sutra Ornament says: "Craft and birth, and likewise, The Nirmanakaya of supreme enlightenment. The Nirmanakaya of the Buddha, Is the great method of liberation." That is to say, all paintings, writings, and books, etc., are the craft Nirmanakaya, which arises for the sake of the increase of the white karma of beings. To be reborn as a physician, etc., and to save beings from disease and famine, etc., is the birth Nirmanakaya. To tame beings through the twelve deeds, etc., is the Nirmanakaya of supreme enlightenment. As the Uttaratantra says: "Knowing the world with great compassion, Having observed all the world, Without moving from the Dharmakaya, The Nirmanakaya of

With various natures, when manifesting birth, transferring from the Tushita heaven, entering the womb and being born, being skilled in the arts, enjoying with the retinue of consorts, renouncing and practicing austerities, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras and perfecting, the wheel of Dharma of Bodhi, and manifesting Nirvana, in impure realms, showing existence as long as samsara exists. Thus it is said. He also dwells in the form body as the Dharma body, the Buddha Bhagavan who has attained the three bodies. That is, it is said in that very sutra: Here, the first is the Dharma body, the latter is the form body, just as form dwells in the sky, the last dwells in the first. Thus it is said. It is said in the Ornament of Sutras: With the three bodies, it should be known that the body of the Buddha is the summary, the self-nature enjoyment complete body, and the other is the emanation body. With the three bodies, the meaning of self-nature is shown with its basis. Thus it is said. Those have already explained the dependent body. Next, there are three explanations of the wisdom that relies on it: the common distinctions, the individual self-natures, and the way of knowing the knowable. The first is merely the basis for distinguishing the wisdom of the Buddha. The nature of the distinction is the knowledge of suchness and the knowledge of all that exists. The first is the nature, which is the direct realization of all knowable things such as essence, cause and effect, free from the extremes of elaboration, as it is said in the Middle Length Prajnaparamita Sutra: Knowing one dharma is called knowing all dharmas, which means the nature of dharma is peaceful. In some treatises, it is called the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. The second has three aspects: distinguishing self-nature, and cause. The first is the nature, which is the direct realization of all knowable things such as essence, cause and effect, as if they were illusions, as it is said in that very sutra: With what aspects, with what signs, and with what characteristics are the dharmas described? Those aspects, those signs, and those characteristics are understood by the Tathagata. Second, there are four kinds of wisdom that know all that exists: mirror-like wisdom, equality wisdom, discriminating wisdom, and accomplishing activity wisdom. There are two causes for these: the cause of eliminating opponents, and
