It is the nature of cause. First, on the path of learning, hearing and holding many categories of Dharma, practicing equality of self and others, teaching the Dharma that is appropriate to the capacity of the disciples, and being a companion in accomplishing the benefit of others, thus, the four wisdoms purify the inherent stains and become the cause of accomplishment. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "For the sake of holding and for the sake of equality of mind, for the sake of rightly teaching the excellent Dharma, and for the sake of accomplishing activities, the four wisdoms rightly arise." Second, it refers to the transformation that is established from the perspective of appearance by the power of eliminating the obscurations on top of the wisdom that is inherent in oneself. That is, when the eight consciousnesses of the impure time, including the basis of all, the alaya consciousness, are eliminated, they appear as wisdom. Among them, the purification of the alaya consciousness is the Dharmadhatu wisdom, the purification of the consciousness of the alaya consciousness is the mirror-like wisdom, the purification of the mind is the equality wisdom, the purification of the afflicted mind is the discriminating wisdom, and the purification of the five sense consciousnesses is the accomplishing wisdom. The Sutra Entering the Three Bodies states: "The absorption of the alaya consciousness into the Dharmadhatu is the Dharmadhatu wisdom. The absorption of the consciousness of the alaya consciousness into the Dharmadhatu is the mirror-like wisdom. The absorption of the consciousness of the mind into the Dharmadhatu is the equality wisdom. The absorption of the afflicted mind into the Dharmadhatu is the discriminating wisdom. The absorption of the five sense consciousnesses into the Dharmadhatu is the accomplishing wisdom." The so-called transformation is also the name established on the purified part of those afflictions and their basis. Because if those are not pure, then the qualities established by those impure things will not appear. From the perspective of self-nature, it is impossible for the afflictions themselves to transform into wisdom, because afflictions are extremely contradictory to wisdom, and because they are said to be abandoned, they must be purified. If it is considered to be self-nature, it contradicts the statement that the essence is spontaneously accomplished, uncompounded, and inherently present, because it requires the action of newly transforming. If it is admitted that it requires action, then it will become impermanent, because it is a compounded phenomenon. If it is admitted that it is impermanent, then liberation will change, and therefore it will fall into the fault of the truth of suffering, and it will also be harmed by the scriptural statements such as "Until samsara is empty, I will constantly abide for the benefit of sentient beings," so that should not even be heard, let alone clinging to it as true and admitting it?

The mirror-like wisdom has five qualities: because the imprints of self-grasping are not completely severed, it is continuous; because it knows what exists in that place and does not know what exists elsewhere, there is no discontinuity of place; because there is no impermanence or change, there are no three times of conventional reality, therefore the inconceivable wisdom is always present, so there is no discontinuity of time; because it knows all phenomena, there is no discontinuity of object; and because it does not depend on the appearance of objects, it knows simply by the existence of knowables, so there is no discontinuity of aspect. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: \"Mirror-like wisdom has no I, it is completely unceasing and always present, it is not confused about all knowables, and it is always not manifest to them.\" It is also accompanied by the other three wisdoms, as it says in the same text: \"Mirror-like wisdom is unmoving, the three wisdoms depend on it, equality and individual discrimination, only accomplish the task.\" Its function is like a mirror reflecting an image when it encounters a face. When this wisdom encounters those to be tamed, the enjoyment body and the other three wisdoms appear as reflections. Therefore, the emanation body is the basis for radiating, as it says in the same text: \"For the sake of the cause of all wisdoms, like a great source of wisdom, the perfect enjoyment Buddha himself, because the image of wisdom arises.\" The nature of the wisdom of equality is to not abide in the two extremes of samsara and nirvana, but to realize that all is equality, as it says in the same text: \"Abiding without abiding in peace, is said to be the wisdom of equality.\" It is accompanied by great love and great compassion, and its function is to show the appearance of the form body in accordance with the inclinations of those to be tamed, as it says in the same text: \"Always endowed with love and great compassion, according to the inclinations of sentient beings, the Buddha's body will surely appear.\" Although the basis for the appearance of the body is made by the mirror-like wisdom, it is regarded that the one who shows it to those to be tamed is the wisdom of equality. The nature of the wisdom of individual discrimination is the wisdom that is unobstructed to all phenomena, and is skilled in teaching the Dharma, as it says in the same text: \"The wisdom of individual discrimination, always to all knowables\"" } ] ============================================================
