Do. Furthermore, it is said in the Praise of Dharmadhatu: Having crossed the mire of the ocean of samsara, therefore it is called long gone. Thus it is said. The small of the great, the eighth ground, the immovable, the perfection of power is. It is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: Because of the two cognitions being immovable, the immovable is considered the immovable ground. Thus it is said. The middle of the great, the perfection of aspiration, possessing completeness, is Good Intelligence. It is said in that very text: Each and every one with true lineage, Good Intelligence, that ground is Good Intelligence. Thus it is said. The great of the great, the tenth ground, the cloud of Dharma, the perfection of wisdom is. It is said in that very text: Like clouds, the two pervade the realm of space, therefore it is the cloud of Dharma. Thus it is said. That also, the two clouds of samadhi and dharani pervade the sky of those to be tamed. Since the rain of Dharma falls and accomplishes the meaning, the Tathagata is like that. It is said in the Uttaratantra: This conduct of the Bodhisattva, the subsequent attainment of the Tathagatas, and truly liberating sentient beings, are equal in the world. Thus it is said. That also, the manner of performing actions is the same, therefore it is called that, but the manner of both acting and doing, the Buddha is superior. It is said in that very text: Although it is so, what is the difference between the dust of the earth and the water in the hoofprint of an ox in the ocean? The difference between the Buddha and the Bodhisattva is just that. Thus it is said. Thus, the nine grounds of the path of meditation are divided by the power of the nine great, medium, and small antidotes to their respective obscurations, and by the power of the nine ways of arising qualities. Fourth, among the five special dharmas, the difference of antidotes is in relation to abandoning the stains of the nine grounds. The two paths of application and non-interruption are the antidotes of abandonment. The path of liberation is the antidote of the basis. The path of distinction is the antidote of prolongation. That also, prior to the ground, the coarse obstacles that have become obstacles to that and that which is to be abandoned by one's own continuum are abandoned, and it is called the path of application. That and that ground, as it arises for the first time, truly abandoning the seed of the impurity's own share, is the path of non-interruption. From the second moment of that ground, the actual basis of the ground is the path of liberation. At the end of the ground, having obtained special qualities, and proceeding to the higher ground, it is called the path of distinction. The difference of abandonment is: Abandoning all that is to be abandoned by seeing, medi

The coarse aspects of what is to be abandoned are abandoned, and one enters into the abandonment of the subtle aspects. Its nature is the two, the co-emergent afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations. If divided, there are four. From the aspect of nature, there are six: desire, anger, pride, ignorance, view of the aggregates as a self, and extreme views. If divided from the aspect of realms: in the desire realm there are six. In the two upper realms, there are five each, excluding anger, which is ten, and added together, there are sixteen. If divided from the aspect of grounds: in the desire realm there are six. In the four concentrations, there are four sets of five. In the four formless realms, there are four sets of five, totaling forty-six. If divided from the aspect of grounds and large and small: in the desire realm, and the first concentration, the second, the third, the fourth, and the formless realms of infinite space, infinite consciousness, nothingness, and the peak of existence, these nine grounds, desire has nine sets of large, medium, and small, which is eighty-one. Similarly, pride has nine sets of nine, ignorance has nine sets of nine, view of the aggregates as a self has nine sets of nine, extreme views have nine sets of nine, these five sets of eighty-one added together are four hundred and five. On top of that, adding the nine large, medium, and small angers of the desire realm, there are four hundred and fourteen. These are abandoned separately in the four paths of application, immediate path, liberation path, and special path. The difference in qualities is that the twelve hundred qualities of the first ground manifest as a thousandfold in each moment on the second ground. On the third ground, it is a hundred thousandfold, on the fourth ground, it is a koti fold, on the fifth ground, it is a koti thousandfold, on the sixth ground, it is a koti hundred thousandfold, on the seventh ground, it is a billion koti hundred thousandfold, on the eighth ground, it is as many as the extremely fine particles of ten hundred thousand kotis of three thousand great thousand worlds, on the ninth ground, it is as many as the fine particles of ten hundred thousand kotis of immeasurable Buddha fields, and on the tenth ground, one is able to show qualities equal to the number of fine particles of ten hundred thousand kotis of inexpressible billions of Buddha fields, and in every pore, clear Buddha fields appear, and at the same time, one performs twelve deeds and so on for the benefit of sentient beings. Such qualities are also newly [arising] by the power of freedom from obscurations on top of the realms.
