Liberation from the origin is the severing of the connection to the object to be abandoned. That is, relying on the moments of each of the Four Noble Truths and their objects to be abandoned, it becomes the antidote for gradual purification. Relying on the arising of wisdom, when the two, the path of no-interruption and the path of liberation, arise as Dharma-kshanti, because of seeing what was unseen, it is established as the path of seeing. Those objects to be abandoned, when they encounter the powerful and the lineage of wisdom, are suppressed; when they encounter the powerless and actual things, they are weakened. When wisdom actually arises, the objects to be abandoned, together with their seeds, cease simultaneously. The remaining wisdom connects to the path of liberation, becoming the antidote. The difference in time is that, first, the four Dharma-kshantis, distinguished by the Four Noble Truths, arise simultaneously; after that, the four Dharma-jnanas arise simultaneously; after that, the four Anvaya-kshantis arise simultaneously; after that, the four Anvaya-jnanas arise simultaneously. Therefore, in the four moments of complete action, the essence is four types, and sixteen transformations arise, because the Four Noble Truths are realized simultaneously, and the four, kshanti and jnana, arise sequentially. The difference in realization is that the two selflessnesses are directly realized by the wisdom that transcends the world. That is, the Dharmadhatu universally pervades all self and others, especially through realization, the mind of enlightenment, the equality of self and others, is realized. The difference in qualities is that it possesses one hundred and twelve qualities that can be shown in a moment, as well as inconceivable qualities such as the Buddha-eye, clairvoyance, and magical powers. That is, in a moment, it can show one hundred Buddhas appearing, know that one hundred Buddhas are blessing, emanate one hundred emanations, show a moment as one hundred kalpas, wisdom enters into one hundred past and future limits, enter into and arise from one hundred samadhis, ripen one hundred sentient beings, shake one hundred fields, illuminate one hundred fields with light, open one hundred Dharma doors, show oneself as one hundred bodies, and each body shows itself surrounded by one hundred fully endowed retinues. One who abides in this ground is able to hold the rebirth of the king of Jambudvipa. Fourth, in the path of meditation, there are two, the basis and the nature. Among the bases, the basis of the body is the desire of men and women of the three continents.

Beings in the form realm and other realms with form are mostly born there, but they can also be born elsewhere, as stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Because they take birth according to their wishes." This is how it is established. The support of the mind is the fourth dhyana. In terms of nature, there are three aspects: cause, result, and essence. The cause is the first three paths of the Great Vehicle. The result is the path of no more learning. The essence has four aspects: definition, basis, divisions, and characteristics. The definition is the Great Vehicle path of the second ground, which cuts off the continuity of upward progress and ultimately cuts off the continuity of downward progress. The basis is what can be designated as the term "Great Vehicle path of cultivation." It arises after the completion of the Great Vehicle path of seeing, and whatever is included in the virtue of the Great Vehicle becomes the cause for the first moment of the Great Vehicle path of no more learning to arise in the mindstream. The basis is all the virtues that belong to the sphere of the nature of the ten grounds. In terms of divisions, there are three paths of cultivation: small, medium, and large, and each of these is further divided into three, making a total of nine. Among them, the smallest of the small is the second ground, the Immaculate Ground, which is the supreme perfection of discipline. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Because it is free from the defilement of immoral conduct and effort, it is called the Immaculate Ground." The medium of the small is the third ground, the Luminous Ground, which is the perfection of patience. As stated in that same text: "Because it produces great light of the Dharma, it is called the Luminous Ground." The largest of the small is the fourth ground, the Radiant Ground, which is the perfection of diligence. As stated in that same text: "Thus, the Dharma that accords with the aspects of enlightenment burns intensely like a flame. Because it possesses that, that ground is called the Radiant Ground because it burns the two." The smallest of the medium is the fifth ground, the Very Difficult to Train Ground. Again, as stated in that same text: "It fully ripens sentient beings and also protects one's own mind. The wise call it Very Difficult to Train, therefore it is called Very Difficult to Train." The medium of the medium is the sixth ground, the Manifest Ground, which is the perfection of wisdom. As stated in that same text: "Relying on the perfection of wisdom, samsara and nirvana are both manifested here, therefore it is called the Manifest Ground." The largest of the medium is the seventh ground, the Far-Reaching Ground, which is the perfection of skillful means. As stated in that same text: "Because it is connected with the path of a single going, it is considered the Far-Reaching Ground."
