transforms. Because of its association with the noble path, those who have destroyed the view of the perishable aggregates, show that the wisdom and what is to be abandoned, which are abandoned through meditation, are like tattered clothes. The defilements based on the seven grounds are like the defilements of the womb. Like being free from the womb, the non-conceptual wisdom is like ripening. The defilements connected to the three grounds should be known like clothes stained with mud, which are to be destroyed by the great, diamond-like concentration. Thus it is said. Third, showing the nature of the essence: Such a realm, the essence of bodhichitta, which is spontaneously present in sentient beings, is called the nature of the dharmakaya in terms of its naturally pure and perfect qualities. It is shown by the three examples of the Buddha in the lotus, honey, and the essence of grain. From the aspect of being an unchanging, uncompounded sign of its existence within oneself, it is called the nature of Suchness. It is shown by the one example of gold. From the aspect of appearing as the generation of the three kayas by the power of purifying the path and being free from defilements, it is called the nature of lineage. It is shown by the five examples of treasure, trees, wish-fulfilling jewels, wheel-turning kings, and golden statues. Furthermore, in the Uttaratantra it says: This nature is the dharmakaya, Suchness and lineage as well. This is to be understood by three, one, and five examples. Thus it is said. Even now, when it is with defilements, this realm cannot be fully understood in meaning by any example, so the dharmakaya itself is taken as an example. Because it transcends the world, there is no analogy for it in the world, so it is shown that the nature of the Tathagatagarbha is similar. Thus it is said. There are two dharmakayas that show similarity: the cause of separation is the realm, and the result of separation is the nature of the Tathagata, which is the self-aware wisdom. It also includes the corresponding holy Dharma, the two aspects of scripture and realization. It should be known that there are two dharmakayas: the dharmadhatu is extremely pure, and its co-existing cause is profound and shows various ways. Thus it is said. Among them, the causal dharmakaya pervades all, and its commentary says: In terms of the meaning that the dharmakaya of the Tathagata pervades the realm of sentient beings without exception,

Thus it is shown that these sentient beings possess the essence of the Tathagata. If any sentient being becomes something other than the Dharmakaya of the Tathagata, then it does not exist in the realm of sentient beings, just like the realm of form in the realm of space. The nature does not change, the nature does not transform, because of goodness and complete purity, therefore it is said that this Suchness is like the shape of gold. Thus it is said. The nature of lineage is spoken of from the aspect of generating qualities, and the metaphors of treasure and trees have already been mentioned. The ultimate nature of such a realm, thinking that there must be a collection, from the intention of mental speculation, cannot be seen directly. From the first ground, one can see a part, and in the state of Buddhahood, one can directly see what the nature is, just as when the sun rises, those without eyes cannot see it, but those with eyes can see it. The ultimate truth of the self-born ones should be realized through faith. Even if the sun's disc is radiant, those without eyes cannot see it. Thus it is said. Therefore, the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, that is, the lower three grounds of noble ones, do not see it as it is. Bodhisattva noble ones are like a child seeing the sun in the sky, but they do not see the sun that pervades all lands. Thus it is said, from the house where he was born, the child, like the image of the sun, so too are the noble ones. Thus it is said. In the explanation of the Uttaratantra, regarding the Buddha seeing everything, like clouds in the sky, like the sun, you here are a person with partial wisdom. Even the noble ones with pure wisdom eyes cannot completely see everything. Bhagavan, you possess a pure Dharmakaya and boundless wisdom, and you see all the infinite knowable things that pervade the sky. Thus it is said. That is also because the ultimate truth is the Dharmadhatu, and seeing its nature is called seeing the ultimate truth. Emptiness, which is nothing, is also not the ultimate truth. That is also because, in order to counteract the attachment to self of children, ordinary people, and those who initially have karma, non-self and so on are taught. In reality, one should know that the Dharmadhatu luminosity is unconditioned and spontaneously existing. From that it is said, in brief, these four types of people are the Tathagatagarbha
