It is an inconceivable Dharma. As it says in that very scripture: 'That Tathāgatagarbha with defilements is also completely pure in one instant and one moment, and is also completely contaminated, therefore this place is inconceivable.' It also says: 'That Tathāgatagarbha without defilements was not previously completely contaminated by defilements, and later became pure, therefore this place is inconceivable.' Second, there are three aspects to the way it pervades all: the way it pervades all by its nature, the signs of lineage, and qualities. First, as it says in the Garland Sutra: 'The Sugata essence pervades all beings.' Also, as it says in the Uttaratantra: 'The complete Buddha body is spontaneously accomplished, the Tathāgatagarbha nature is without difference, because there is lineage, sentient beings always have the Tathāgatagarbha nature.' Second, there are two signs of lineage: the sign of having lineage but not being awakened, as it says in that very scripture: 'If there were no Buddha-nature, one would not be disgusted with suffering, nor would one desire Nirvana, then there would be no desire or aspiration for benefit.' Like some inferior people. The sign of awakening, as it says in that very scripture: 'In samsara and Nirvana, seeing the faults and benefits of suffering and happiness, one can see because one has lineage, those without lineage do not see.' These two are in the Ornament of the Sutras, 'Some have no virtuous qualities in accordance with liberation, some have little white Dharma and no cause.' This shows incompleteness and temporary cessation. 'Before the practice, there is compassion, faith and forbearance, and the virtuous conduct of noble people, this is said to be the true cause of lineage.' This shows awakening. Third, qualities, are superior to the Lesser Vehicle, so it is a superior display. As it says in that very scripture: 'The qualities are vast and can generate the Bodhi tree, to obtain the peace of great happiness and suffering, the superior lineage is like that excellent root because it benefits oneself and others.' Thus, in the Indian language, "gotra" translated as "guna" means qualities, translated as "tra" means salvation, relying on qualities to save from samsara, as it says in that very scripture: 'Qualities, it should be known, are the meaning of salvation.' Third, there are three ways to distinguish well: distinguishing from the door of the support and the supported.

I, distinguish from the perspective of temporary and from the perspective of metaphorical meaning. The first case, as stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "Self-nature and growth, that is the support and the supported, existence and non-existence, and qualities, should be known as the meaning of liberation." Therefore, the all-pervading luminosity mentioned earlier can be divided into two from the perspective of appearance and emptiness. The emptiness of the dharmadhatu is the inseparable cause of the Dharmakaya Svabhavikakaya, which is the support; the self-luminous appearance of wisdom, along with the marks and signs, is the supported, the inseparable abode of the two Rupakayas. As stated in the Uttaratantra: "Like a treasure and a fruit-bearing tree, these two lineages should be known, the beginningless self-abiding, and the supreme reality that is truly attained. From these two lineages, the three bodies of the Buddha are desired to be obtained. The first body is the first, the second is the latter two. The beauty of the Svabhavikakaya should be known as a precious statue, because it is self-nature and not made, and qualities are the treasure of jewels. Because it possesses great Dharma and great royal power, it is like a complete enjoyment wheel-turning king. Because of the nature of the image, the Nirmanakaya is like a golden image." That is to say, the lineage that abides in self-nature, and the lineage that is truly attained, can be divided into two from the perspective of the ground and the path. When the self-nature of the dharmadhatu pervades all grounds, the planning part of the dharmadhatu is like a treasure of jewels, abiding in the ground of producing all desires, and in reality, nothing is missing. Therefore, the dharmadhatu of the Dharmakaya Svabhavikakaya is the opening of the door for the appearance of body and wisdom, so it is established in this way. The appearing part of the wisdom appearance, awareness and body, by the power of being free from obstacles, from the part where the qualities possessed by oneself are bound to manifest, it is said with the example of a fruit-bearing tree growing upwards, this is naming the pure cause as the pure effect. As stated in the Ornament for Clear Realization: "It is an analogy for the lineage of gold and the supreme jewel." By the way, if it is told as when learning on the path, then these two lineages of the dharmadhatu are both spontaneously accomplished in self-nature, so they are called self-nature lineages, abiding as the support. On this basis, from the initial generation of Bodhicitta, until the accumulation of merit and wisdom of the ten bhumis

All that is gathered through... is called the gain lineage. This virtue also shows that, by the power of newly acquired antidotes, the power of clearing the stains of the self-nature lineage, it is like the new birth of one's own inherent qualities. Nowadays, if these two lineages are not regarded as the basis, but the basis is regarded as self-nature and the path as gain, this seems to be a manifestation of not understanding the dharmadhatu. Because this contradicts the fact that appearance and emptiness are inseparable and spontaneously present in the basis. As it is said in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Although there is no difference between before and after, suchness is purified." And as it is said in the Uttaratantra: "Unmade and spontaneously accomplished, not conceived by other causes, endowed with ज्ञान(梵文天城体:ज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:jñāna,汉语字面意思:wisdom) and love and power, the Buddha who possesses the two benefits." Therefore, the Buddha is not accomplished from the cause and effect of separation, but from the cause and effect of the producer and the produced, but is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning. Therefore, know that from the two lineages, the three bodies of the Buddha are inherently complete. Moreover, the gain appearance aspect of the Buddha's ground is the Sambhogakaya, and its emptiness aspect is the Dharmakaya, the self-nature lineage, through the blessing of the inseparability of these two, in the appearance of sentient beings, the manifestation of the Nirmanakaya corresponding to each person's fortune, just like the image of the Chakravartin king in the sky appearing on the slope of the golden mountain. Second, from the perspective of states, there are three: the impure sentient being lineage, the impure pure Bodhisattva lineage, and the extremely pure Tathagata lineage or element. Moreover, in the state of Buddhahood, although the nature of lineage or element is reversed due to being free from defilements, it is not contradictory to call it by that name. Because it is said in the same text: "The Buddha element and the Buddha Bodhi." Therefore, in relation to the three states, it is said in the Uttaratantra: "Impure, impure pure, and extremely pure, in that order, sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and thus gone ones are spoken of." And in its commentary it says: "For example, in the impure state, it is called the sentient being element, in the impure pure state, it is called the Bodhisattva, and in the extremely pure state, it is called the Tathagata."
