Therefore, those who abide in wisdom engage in equal meditation. The fourth is the Great Yoga Tantra, namely the Mahāyoga Tantra, which mainly elucidates that the function of the mind is great wisdom. Since there is no acceptance or rejection, the actions of body and speech are also practiced with the five desires as a means. As stated in the Guhyasamāja Tantra: "With unbearable ascetic vows, even if practiced, it will not be accomplished; relying on all the qualities of desire, one will attain accomplishment." Also, as stated in the Chakrasamvara Tantra: "Therefore, with happiness, obtain happiness itself; one should practice the supreme happiness." Ārya Deva said: "To obtain the fruit of great bliss, there is no other method than the method of great bliss. For this purpose, through the happiness of food and lodging, etc., one should practice the happiness endowed with the eight great powers." The eight powers are stated in the Compendium of Secrets Tantra: "The power of body, the power of speech, and the power of mind, likewise, activity and magical powers, the power of going everywhere, and the desired abode and the eight special meanings." Also, as stated in the Chakrasamvara Tantra: "Able to be subtle and vast, able to be subtle, able to act, possessing ability, possessing great self-nature, causing joy, everything becomes free, doing as one wishes, these are the meanings of the eight powers." There are three methods of practice: The power of mind, the special meaning is the subtle wind of wisdom, the location of the central channel. Everything merges into wisdom, therefore the three most subtle, the life-force wind enters the Avadhūti (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱིར་; Sanskrit: अवधूत, Avadhūti; meaning: the one who has shaken off), all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are separated from elaboration, the wisdom of seeing the central channel arises in the central channel, the central channel is seen to arise, at that time, due to the interdependent arising of the wind of wisdom gathering in the central channel, magical powers and clairvoyance arise, the grasping of self-nature as two ceases, and the wheel of clear light is continuous. The power of body, for magical powers, etc., whatever desire there is to go, one has the activity of going. The joy of not having father and mother, the master of control, the ability to act on meaning, these three, when holding the wind of wisdom in the central channel, one engages in the clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings, therefore enjoyment gathers, the body adorned with marks and signs appears, and one is able to transform in accordance with whatever needs to be tamed, thereby benefiting sentient beings, all these arise as mere appearances of oneself.

Oh. The Lord of Speech has dominion over whatever aspect of Dharma one desires. He teaches the Dharma according to the faculties and inclinations of sentient beings, and for the purpose of subduing beings. In the central channel, the power of the union of wind and mind perfects the two accumulations, causing beings to listen, and by knowing various languages, he teaches the Dharma, thus accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings. Having obtained power over such abilities, he is called "Lord." Because he can actually enjoy uncontaminated qualities, he is called "Powerful." Secondly, there are five reasons for establishing the four classes of tantras. First, the four classes of tantras were taught in consideration of the four castes: the Brahmin caste mainly emphasizes bathing and cleanliness, hence the Action Tantra; the Kshatriya caste maintains external bathing and cleanliness, and internal shame and embarrassment, hence the Performance Tantra; the royal caste protects the country with great merit and wealth, hence the Yoga Tantra; the Vaishya caste does not value cleanliness and has coarse afflictions, and is inferior in both action and conduct, hence the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantra was taught. As the Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara says: "The practice is in accordance with the purity of the Brahmins, the conduct is superior to that of the Kshatriya caste, the yoga is the king with many retinues, the ignorance of the base is liberated from the beginning, it has not been taught to others, but is taught to you, beautiful one." And the Garland of Cremation Grounds Tantra also says: "For the purpose of subduing Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Chandalas, four types of tantras are taught: Action, Performance, Yoga, and Unsurpassed Yoga." Secondly, the four tantras are taught in consideration of the four types of intelligence of beings: the superior faculty practices the lower tantra, the medium faculty practices the performance tantra, the sharp faculty practices the yoga tantra, and the sharpest faculty practices the unsurpassed yoga tantra. As the Vajra Tent Tantra says: "For the inferior ones, it is the Action Tantra, for the non-action ones, it is superior, it is Yoga, for the supreme beings, it is the Yoga Tantra, the Unsurpassed Yoga, it is superior." Thirdly, the four tantras are taught in consideration of the times: in the first kalpa, the Age of Perfection, the people of Jambudvipa had four qualities: they lived for immeasurable years, consumed nectar, had light in their bodies, and traveled in the sky by means of miraculous powers. That time was the Action Tantra. Then the qualities became smaller than before, life, light, and miraculous powers.
