Therefore, based on understanding the nature of the ultimate result of the essence of reality, it is called the Fruition Vehicle because it is studied for that very purpose. That is, one cultivates the generation and completion stages relying on the removal of defilements, and by practicing that very thing, one purifies adventitious defilements. Therefore, although the deities and mandalas, etc., that are meditated upon by the mind are manifestations of one's own mind, they are not meditated upon by taking the deities and mandalas of the fruition of reality as the actual path. However, because it is close to the meaning of that reality, it is regarded as a profound and infallible path. Therefore, although reality cannot be taken as the actual path and is similar to the Causal Vehicle, the difference between similar and dissimilar aspects makes a great difference in the proximity and distance of the path. It is like a jewel and a lamp placed side by side at night, and two thieves, because of the light, are attached to the jewel and try to take it. The foolish thief gets the lamp, while the wise one gets the jewel. Similarly, there is a great difference in the cause of quickly obtaining or not obtaining what is desired. As it says in the Pramāṇavārttika: "The light of a jewel and a lamp, if one manifestly runs after it with the thought of a jewel, although there is no difference from a wrong view, there is a difference in how it accomplishes the purpose." Therefore, here the result is the kāya, speech, and mind, and the way to manifest something similar to that is: First, at the time of empowerment, a qualified master, having prepared the offerings, the ground, and the preliminaries, draws the mandala, performs the practice and offerings, and then the master himself takes self-entry. Then, he introduces the disciple, bestows vows and precepts, and thus manifests wisdom, which is the manifestation of mind. Unveiling the flower, removing the mask, and showing the mandala is the manifestation of kāya. After the empowerment, giving the subsequent permission of mantras and mudras is called the manifestation of speech. By bestowing the four empowerments on the three doors of body, speech, and mind, defilements are purified, and kāya, speech, and mind are manifested. That is, first receiving empowerment, and in the path of liberation, continuously meditating on it and knowing the nature of the three kāyas and five wisdoms, this is called taking the result as the path. As it says in the Guhyagarbha Tantra: "All the mandalas of knowable things are completely the nature of the three kāyas.

The profound secret mantra Mahayana, entering into the three bodies is the Fruition Vehicle. The three bodies being inseparable is the Vajra Vehicle. Thus it is said. How to practice body and wisdom on the path? From the two, the generation stage and the completion stage, at the beginning of meditation, meditating on emptiness is the Dharmakaya. From that state, meditating on the deity's body is the Sambhogakaya. The emanation and gathering of rays, doing the work of benefiting sentient beings is the Nirmanakaya. The five afflictions purified by skillful means are the five wisdoms. The Guhyasamaja Tantra says: "By this, one becomes the great lord of Dharma, arising from the indivisibility of the three bodies, the ocean of wisdom is adorned, and one will attain it in this very life." The Cemetery Garland Tantra says: "The direct realization of emptiness is the Dharmakaya, the enjoyment of bliss with marks and examples is the Sambhogakaya, the playful activity is the Nirmanakaya." The Spontaneously Accomplished Ocean of Wisdom Tantra says: "From the great wisdom of the Dharmadhatu, the very nature of great bliss, the perfect Sambhogakaya is wondrous, arising from great compassion, the Nirmanakaya appears as wondrous play." Thus it is said. If the mantra vehicle also becomes a part of the path that purifies defilements, then what is meant by "taking the result as the path"? If one thinks that the cause vehicle is generated to purify defilements, so they are the same, although fundamentally, the simultaneous purification of the defilements of the elements and the attainment of Buddhahood are the same. But in terms of the length of time and the nature, the warmth of the path that outsiders strive for a long time, the mantra can be used as the path in an instant, because by meditating on the state of abiding in the mandala of the sphere, what should be abandoned also appears as a helper. Therefore, it is said that the result is taken as the path, but it is not actually taking the ultimate result as the path, so one must practice the profound and vast path. In general, establishing the aspect of cause and effect is to make it easy to understand conventional truth. Therefore, the collection of results such as samadhi generated by the cause of great effort is perfected, and the path that purifies obscurations is called the cause, and it is the characteristic vehicle. The samadhi etc. obtained with little effort, because it is not generated by the collection and effort, is established as the result, therefore, it is called the Fruition Vehicle because it purifies defilements. These Dharma categories also mainly show the establishment of cause and condition from the beginning.
