Since you are without error, the three realms are emptied. The basis of delusion is deception, therefore the essence of the wheel of delusion is continuous, and the basis for falling into samsara is destroyed, so the ground is not found. Since self-nature is beyond calculation, delusion and non-delusion are not established. The characteristic is being free from the mind of delusion and non-delusion. The bindu abides in its own essential point, and the single self-essence is free from elaboration, so there is neither one nor many. Since self-nature is non-dual, it transcends nominal terms. The characteristic is that after introduction, trust arises, and thus it is determined. Divisions: There are two types: oral transmission and explanatory transmission. The essence of oral transmission is that it is transmitted directly from one to another, so the relationship is close. Self-nature is connected to the ear faculty, so there is no interruption. The characteristic is that there is no error, so it has confidence and certainty. Divisions include oral transmissions with and without letters, all of which fall into the pith instructions of words and meanings. The essence of the explanatory transmission is that the nature of reality is without effort, and innate wisdom has no cause, so there is no basis for revolving in the three realms. Self-nature is clear and without defilement, so the characteristics of the five wisdoms are known. The characteristic is that it transcends conceptual thought, so it always abides in the intention of the three kayas and five wisdoms. Divisions are four: outer circle, inner circle, secret circle, and the unsurpassed secret circle. First, the essence of the outer circle is that afflictions cannot be abandoned, so the five poisons abide on the path. Self-nature is without effort, so whatever appears manifests as the nature of reality. The characteristic is that it has no partiality, so emptiness is not separated anywhere. The essence of the inner circle is that there is no self-characteristic of form, so it is the nature of reality without characteristics. Self-nature is without going or coming, so it is the wisdom that abides eternally in time. The characteristic is that from the perspective of taking root, it arises like a root; from the perspective of gathering, it arises like a trunk; from the perspective of flourishing, it arises like leaves; from the perspective of clarity, it arises like a flower; from the perspective of ripening, it arises like a fruit. The essence of the secret circle is that introduction and attainment of realization are simultaneous, so it does not depend on the three of hearing, thinking, and meditation. Self-nature is that cessation of breath and becoming a Buddha are simultaneous, so it does not depend on diligence and the power of habituation. The characteristic is that becoming a Buddha and the arising of compassion are simultaneous, so it does not depend on the completion of the two accumulations. The essence of the unsurpassed secret circle is that it does not rely on words, so it is

It does not depend entirely on wisdom. Because of directly knowing the nature, it does not abide in the view of conceptualizing with the mind. Because the four characteristic appearances have reached their limit, it does not rely on the fruition of the three kayas and five wisdoms. This is also so that what is spontaneously accomplished from the beginning will manifest in this life. Regarding their nature, one should generate faith through scriptural authority. As it is said in the "Illuminating Lamp" of Master Vimala: The outer circle is like the body, extensively explaining terms; the inner circle is like the eye, what is seen is the Dharma of symbols; the secret circle is like the heart, it is the Dharma of the essence of remembrance. This is like a complete person who possesses all qualities. Such is the Great Perfection, the division of the Instruction Section into four parts—outer, inner, secret, and unsurpassed—each with its own reasons for expression, numbering twenty-one thousand two hundred. There are thirty-five thousand chapters, six hundred and forty thousand shlokas, five thousand key points, eight major branches, one hundred and eighty minor branches, nine thousand obstacles, seventy thousand distinctions, and one million five hundred thousand repetitions, the content of which is equal to the extent of space. What is taught is the ultimate Instruction Section. Thus, these three sections of Instructions are gathered into three spaces: the space of unceasing play, the space of unobstructed wisdom, and the space of essence without good or bad. The essence of the Instructions is also gathered into four points: unraveling the key points, closing off obstacles, pointing out the nature, and causing the manifest to settle into its own essential point. The third meaning is that the categories must be determined, divided into two. Explaining them separately, in the Mind Section scriptures, among the eighteen Mind Section texts translated into Tibetan, the five early translations are: "The Cuckoo of Awareness," "The Great Expanse of Skill," "The Garuda Soaring," "Gold Refined from Stone," "The Great Banner of Immortality, Vast Sky." These were translated by Vairotsana. The thirteen later translations by Vimala, Kumaraja, and Yudra are: "The Peak Emergence," "The King of Space," "The Miraculous Display of Bliss," "The General Bond of Perfection," "The Bodhicitta Drop," "The All-Pervading Bliss," "The Wheel of Life," "The Six Bindus," "The General Conduct of Perfection," "The Wish-Fulfilling Jewel," "The All-Gathering Awareness," "The Venerable Holy One," "Meditation Accomplishing Meaning." On top of these are "The All-Creating," "The Marvelous," and "The Thirteen Sutras," previously translated by Vairocana.
