The first is that because the essence is unchangeable, whatever appears is liberated as mind. Because nature has no cause and effect, the three realms are empty in name. Because characteristics do not require familiarity, they do not depend on other knowable things. The second is that the heat of view mixes samsara and nirvana into one taste. That is, when the view wavers, recognizing the nature of samsara is like recognizing ghosts and thieves. When the view is obtained, the body and speech obtain heat, like adding wood to a burning fire. When the view is stable, the distinction between samsara and nirvana is distinguished, like a soldier winning on the battlefield. When meditation wavers, the breath enters the mind, like entering the treasury of a rich man. When meditation is attained, the mind enters the path, like an elephant lying down when tamed. When meditation is stable, awareness gains strength, like a king receiving empowerment from the crown of his head. When behavior wavers, the grasp of knowledge is lost, like a madman going crazy. Because the view eliminates the obstacles of the nature of reality, even if it does not rely on the Dharma, there is nowhere to go beyond the Buddha. Because nature has no bias, there is no attachment to the chain of hope and fear. Because the characteristics cannot be found even after investigation, it is called the root of samsara and nirvana rotting. To differentiate, there are two types: one that conceals one and reveals two, and one that conceals two and reveals one.

When dualistic meditation manifests, it is called emptiness purified by emptiness. If view is hidden and conduct and meditation are clear, then unobstructed awareness arises without bias, therefore it is called the wisdom of no object liberated without reliance. The second is, if meditation is prominent and view and conduct are hidden, then the wisdom of no reliance arises without dependence, therefore it is called the fruit of no cause abiding in itself. If conduct is prominent and view and meditation are hidden, then it is said that the body is thrown on a cliff and the mind goes into the nature of reality. If view is prominent and conduct and meditation are hidden, then it is said that the mind is sent into emptiness and the body and speech reach the essential point. There are many tantras and agamas of this kind of method. In some, the view of space is mainly taught, and others are taught as auxiliary, such as the Kunjed Gyalpo Tantra. Fourth, the nature of the teachings spoken in the manner of self-clarity is that they transcend words and do not abide in the extremes of philosophical tenets. The nature of reality, which is primordially pure, arises spontaneously without bias. Characteristics transcend the mind, so they are free from movement and dispersion. If divided, there are three: wanting to expel delusion, reversing delusion to the ground, and the thigle reaching its own essential point. The nature of the first is that delusion, with the root of ignorance, lays the foundation for the three realms of samsara, and that itself is expelled, so ignorance is eradicated. Self-awareness abides in the original ground, so there is no turning back. Because nature appears in various ways, it is expelled from causes and conditions, and the attachment to objects is cut off. The basis of samsaric delusion is exhausted, and it is called primordial purity. The characteristic is that delusion is self-purified, so the path of awareness delusion is exhausted. If divided into three, the nature of the method of reversing samsara and nirvana by cutting off delusion is that knowing that the root of delusion, ignorance, is self-liberated, the seal of never having been deluded is increased, that is, it transcends delusion and non-delusion. Because nature is individually deluded, the measure of momentary imputation is exhausted, and it transcends the object of grasping and being grasped. The characteristic is that delusion is recognized, so the warmth of the wisdom of non-delusion is obtained. The nature of recognizing the nature of reality of non-delusion by placing delusion in itself is that it has never been deluded in the beginning, so the cause of ignorance is purified. In the middle, it does not abide in delusion, so the basis of karma and affliction is emptied. Later, it is impossible to be deluded, so the edge of karma, virtue, and evil is cut off. Because nature is without division, samsara and nirvana are one basis in awareness, and delusion is self-purified.
