There are four ways to grasp one's own position: the Dharmakaya is immutable, like a vajra body; wisdom is immutable, like the Yungdrung life; intention is inseparable, like the flow of a river; and awareness is without increase or decrease, like the rays of the sun. First, awareness merges into the Rupakaya Dharmakaya, and the essence becomes one, so it is immutable. Second, the wisdom that holds the essence as the basis, the wisdom that holds the nature as the characteristic, and the wisdom of compassion that tames beings are all without distinction in the initial stage, so they abide forever and are called the wisdom of all times. Third, the constant samadhi is inseparable, and from the inconceivable samadhi of Dharmata, it is immutable. Fourth, the self-arisen awareness of each individual abides in the great spontaneously perfect clarity, like a precious jewel in a box, abiding immutably. These are also from "Self-Arisen": "The precious vajra seat is immutable, the precious emptiness path is endless, and intention is taught in the oral instructions of self-abiding." Third, there are three ways in which the intention of Dharmata swirls in space: the essence is briefly stated, the aspects are explained in detail, and the meaning is summarized. First, in the realm of primordial purity, the essence of the clear light of awareness, the wisdom of spontaneous perfection, is the root of all the Buddhas' teachings, so it is called the Great Scripture. It is vast because it is boundless, powerful because it is enlightened, the ultimate destination of view, the immutable peg, the cliff that transcends the realm of thought seen from this shore, the mirror because it is all-knowing, the peak traversed by all paths, the realm of liberation, and the great treasury of all the secret king's teachings. From the unwritten, the unerring wisdom of awareness is revealed, the immutable is the great root scripture, the vast is the great manifestation of Dharmata, the intention is the great power of Dharmata, the view is the great place of self-arisen liberation, the immutable peg is the great letter, the constantly difficult cliff is the great cliff, the difficulty of seeing is the great mirror, the difficulty of traversing is the great path, the difficulty of abiding is the great realm, the difficulty of going is the great earth, the great manifestation that appears even though it is non-existent, the unfathomable difficulty of measuring

Vast and immense! The great primordial awareness without limit! Great wisdom without discrimination! The great realization free from the duality of subject and object! The great appearance without mind! The great unchanging and all-pervasive expanse! The great subtle and difficult to grasp! The great vast that is invisible! The great round that is formless! The great flowing that is without breath! The great clear that is black in color! The great soft that is nonexistent! The great appearance that is difficult to fathom! The great emptiness that is appearance! The great one that is unbroken! The great perfect that appears as two! The great beautiful that is without ornament! The great full that is empty! The great ripe that is the completion of the path! The great that appears as a body but has no coming or going! Thus it is said. This is the appearance of the duality of realm and wisdom, and in the state of Dharmakaya, the clear body appears as the basis. Second, elaborating on the aspects, there are two: If the essence is measured as emptiness, primordial purity is like the sky, not established anywhere, therefore it is the vast space of the Dharmakaya of the great perfection beyond extremes. If the aspects are measured as clarity, then in the womb of the Dharmakaya realm, the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of body, speech, and mind, as the source of the inexhaustible wheel of ornaments, dwells in the depths of clarity in subtle forms. If we differentiate from that aspect, it is primordially clear in the mandala of the five wisdoms. Above that wisdom, there is no other, therefore it is lofty. The palace of wisdom is spontaneously accomplished, therefore it is vast, and so on. As it is said in the Mirror of the Mind of Samantabhadra: The mandala adorned with jewels is radiant without being painted. The Mount Meru of stable wisdom is lofty without being built. The palace of expanding wisdom is vast without being made. The ocean of vast wisdom is clear without being muddied. The sun of clear wisdom rises without being made and has no setting. The plain of expanding emptiness is even without being arranged. The path of unchanging wisdom has no near or far without being practiced. The horse of unchanging awareness never tires even when running. The stream of objectless awareness never ceases. The seed of awareness-wisdom has no increase or decrease. The wisdom of empty and clear awareness is inseparable. The wisdom of non-grasping awareness is free from the limits of grasping. The wisdom of non-conceptual awareness is unobstructed and completely clear. The wisdom of all-illuminating awareness.
