The others are about the size of mustard seeds or small lentil seeds, oily, cohesive, and round. The locations are: Shariram Body) is located in the head; Variram Water) is between the ribs; Churiram Water) is above the liver; Seriram Yellow) is in the kidneys; Nyariram Fish) is above the lungs. There are two causes: The cause of the peaceful relics is that Shariram Body) is the essence of bone marrow; Variram Water) is the essence of heat; Churiram Water) is the essence of blood; Seriram Yellow) is the essence of the elements; Nyariram Fish) is the essence of knowledge, arising from the accumulation in the body. The cause of the wrathful relics is that Shariram Body) is the marrow of the skull; Churiram Water) is the essence of blood; Variram Water) is the essence of the joints; Nyariram Fish) is the essence of the legs; Pancaram Five) arises from the essence of the elements. From the Self-Arisen Tantra: Shariram Body) arises from the head, Churiram Water) arises from the blood, Variram Water) arises from the joints, Nyariram Fish) arises from the legs, Pancaram Five) truly arises from the essence of the four elements. Thus, all five relics are perfectly round in shape, oily and cohesive, having five clear lights, shining brightly and clearly when exposed to sunlight. From the Burning Body Relics: Alas, listen, Dakini! Body) is white and lustrous, oily and cohesive, with a clear color, about the size of a pea. This is matured and condensed from the essence of bone marrow, arising from the head of the one with skillful means. Water) is bluish-black, about the size of a mustard seed, or perhaps a small lentil seed. This is condensed from the essence of heat, arising from the space between his ribs, Dakini! Water) is yellow in color, about the size of a mustard seed, from blood, it arises from above the liver. Water) is red and lustrous, the size and measure also like a mustard seed. This is gathered and condensed from the elements, arising from the kidneys of the fortunate one, Dakini! Fish) is Indra blue, about the size of a mustard seed, with a clear color, from the essence of all knowledge, it arises from above the lungs. All of these have a general shape that is round and cohesive, all of them are clear and transparent, with five colors. So it is said. The peaceful relics liberate self-appearance into the ground of the definite lineage, the wrathful relics make the Dharma

Dharmakāya, Sambhogakāya, Nirmāṇakāya, the body of manifest enlightenment for the benefit of others, and the attainment of the immutable Vajra body. From the Rangshar Tantra: Śarīraṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,śarīraṃ,舍利) attains unborn. Curīraṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,curīraṃ,精髓舍利) attains benefit of others. Varīraṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,varīraṃ,身体舍利) attains Sambhogakāya. Yarīraṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,yarīraṃ,精华舍利) attains Nirmāṇakāya. Pañcaraṃ (藏文,梵文天城体,pañcaraṃ,五种舍利) is Vajra itself. Thus it is said. Third, summarizing the meaning by the difference between ashes and relics: Relics, which are similar to ashes, are round in shape and have any of the five colors. The substance of relics comes from the coagulation of pure white and red essences, as well as the essences of flesh, bones, warmth, and breath. Ashes, on the other hand, come from the purest part of the essence. The place of generation and origin is from the joints of the body and between the flesh and skin, where they arise and grow. The place of maturation is in all the bones, flesh, and skin, so they eventually arise from all of these. That is, they arise from flesh, skin, and bones, from blood, serum, and essence, from warmth, and from breath. These four categories also have five colors: white, reddish-yellow, red, and blue-green. The fruit of this is to exhale into the Svabhavikakaya. If it occurs to a fortunate person who practices Nyingtik, that is it, but everything else is uncertain. Some are reborn in higher realms, some are reborn in lower realms, and so on. Because ordinary beings, as well as birds and dogs, sinners, virtuous friends, and thinkers also appear. Ashes are not destroyed by the harm of the elements, and even if struck with a hammer on an iron anvil, they will not be destroyed. Relics, on the other hand, are destroyed, and even if burned to ashes, they will burn, so relics will not arise. It is very important for those who hope for relics not to burn the corpse too thoroughly during cremation. Those also arise from the burning of the body. This is also similar to that. The relics themselves are very small, like sesame seeds and dust particles. This can be destroyed by the elements. This is the pure land of Nirmāṇakāya. Thus it is said. The relics themselves are between the joints, or between the flesh and skin. All of these are generated and arise from it. Thus it is said. Among them, the relics of ordinary people and Buddhas are pure and impure, with and without five lights, and the Bodhi tree and its leaves.
