Since the Dharmakaya of the ground is naturally abiding, therefore, all who wish to attain an unerroneous and firm ground, the key is to be without mistake, without confusion, and without distraction. May the wise understand this like understanding the ocean. Thus it was well said. During all these introductions, one should be refreshed and newly generate extraordinary faith, and show it to others. Furthermore, Jigten Sumgön (འཇིག་རྟེན་གསུམ་མགོན།) , the Dharma Lord Lama, said: The introductions should be introduced sequentially and done with great care. Ala la, ola la, not knowing what it is, is not an introduction. Do not not introduce, do not do. Do not single out non-Dharma activities, do not follow delusion. Do not do evil non-Dharma activities in the name of lamas, etc. One must make the name and meaning coincide. Thus he advised. Therefore, in later generations, those who have this Dharma printed should keep this in mind. The second meaning, by determining its distinctions, extensively shows the metaphors of mind and wisdom, divided into two: from the root of rigpa, the introduction of mind as the way to reverse delusion, and rigpa with its self-appearance, the introduction of self-appearing wisdom. First, in the adornment of introduction, it says: Emaho! Introducing appearance as mind, thereby becoming familiar with mind. Introducing mind itself as emptiness, thereby emptiness expands into bliss. Introducing emptiness as rigpa, thereby rigpa itself is non-dual with dharmadhatu and wisdom. Thus it is said. This has three: determining the root of inner mind by the key of outer objects, determining the root of secret dharmadhatu by the key of inner mind, and determining the ultimate rigpa itself by the key of secret dharmadhatu. First, showing that the object of appearance is baseless and deluded, and showing that the grasping of appearance, one's own mind, is empty, divided into two. First, the various white and red appearances of outer appearance, the appearances of the container and contents gathered by the five elements, these that appear in the expanse of the face of one's own mind's delusion, other than appearance, are neither external objects nor internal objects, therefore, know that this is the magic of baseless emptiness, is non-existent, is the nature of appearance, like blurred hairs and dreamlike, illusory appearances. As it says in the Sixth Expanse: All appearances are like illusion, like dreams and reflections. And as it says in the Root Wisdom:

Like a dream, like an illusion, like a city of Gandharvas. Thus it is born, thus it abides, thus it is also said to perish. Thus it is said. Where does it appear? It appears in the mind, like the hair in a cataract, appearing to the impure sense faculty of one with an eye disease. From that very text: On the mind itself, which exists as an object, various appearances arise spontaneously. Names and colors, each separately, are perfected into two forms as objects. Thus it is said. Although they appear in the mind, these things that appear outwardly are not one's own mind, because they exist even without self, abide in objects, and are seen as colors and shapes, etc. Since these are not in the mind, they are not the mind. Here, the objects of appearance, such as forms, etc., which appear outwardly, are introduced as illusions of clear appearance, like dreams, as if they do not exist. This is form. The grasping of the object of appearance that arises first, thinking it is color, etc., is called the mind of appearance. It is called the mind of the grasped. After recognizing it as the mind of the object, if one wonders whether that mind of appearance exists, it is not true that one grasps the clear appearance without an object, and it does not exist because color cannot be determined, and it does not exist because it is examined in the three aspects of arising, abiding, and ceasing. It is called recognizing the nature of mind as emptiness, recognizing it as self-extinguishing, without reliance, and primordially pure. Therefore, ordinary Dharma and most Dzogchen practitioners do not distinguish between appearance and the object of appearance, and consider the self-character of the external object of appearance to be the mind. This is falling into the contaminated true appearance of the Mind-Only school. Here, when recognizing appearance as mind, the mind grasps appearance and non-appearance. The mind that first encounters the object is called the mind of appearance, and the subsequent consideration of its differences as mental events is called the grasping mind. It is called what should be abandoned and purified, mistaken appearance, mistaken grasping, and samsara. In the Two Truths: Mind and mental events are conceptualizations with imputed aspects of the three realms. Thus it is said. In the Treasury of Knowledge: Coarse and subtle discrimination and analysis. All the things that are said to be abandoned are established in agreement, so this is a very important point. May those with supreme intelligence and wisdom realize it. This kind of thing is necessary to encounter the outer and inner as without basis. Second, to establish the secret essence of the inner mind through the key points, that is, when the essence is not recognized by examining the mind, then matter.
