Thus, the characteristics of the abiding body, rigpa, space, and wisdom are: Again, it says in the same text: The characteristic of the body is as follows: Immutable, clear, empty, and free from conceptualization. The characteristic of rigpa is as follows: Subtlety, radiance, continuity, and movement. The characteristic of space is as follows: Vastness, abundance, emptiness, boundlessness, clarity, warmth, coolness, lightness, movement, holding self-possession, pervasiveness, and encompassing enclosure. The characteristic of wisdom is as follows: Arising, manifestation, self-illumination, ye (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), shes (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), rtogs (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning). Clarity, brilliance, immensity, appearance, darkness, understanding, emptiness, and the supreme wisdom of clarity are considered the characteristics of secret mantra. Thus it is said. Secondly, the state of the lamp is: one cubit for gods, four fingers for demigods, one inch for humans, self-illumination for animals, the size of a sesame seed for pretas, the size of a horsehair for hell beings, immeasurable for Buddhas, one arrow-length for Bodhisattvas, and one fathom for Nirmanakayas. Existing in the appearance of self-luminous wisdom is: Again, it says in the same text: The size of the wisdom's abiding state, from the aspects of the six appearances, is explained in detail as follows: For those in Tushita, it is one cubit. For those in conflict, it is four fingers. For those with equality, it is one inch. For those with duality, it is just self-illumination. For those who are hungry, it is the size of a sesame seed. For those who suffer, it is the size of a horsehair. Thus, it is said to abide. For Buddhas, it is immeasurable. For Bodhisattvas, it is one arrow-length. For Nirmanakayas, it is one fathom. Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Nirmanakayas, and gods, appear in the manifest realm. The five realms below them cannot be seen without instruction. Thus it is said. Therefore, in the bardo, the appearance of the lamp of the self-appearing Buddha, Bodhisattva, and god is large because the realm is vast. The other five are small because they are the realm of one's own body. Thirdly, the manner of the arising of space and rigpa is twofold: Space is the five lights within, the self-radiance of wisdom, and in the external realm, it is the light of vast blue pervasiveness, and the light of the fivefold great wisdom that arises from it, both of which self-arise in the realm of appearance. Rigpa is the appearance of the vajra continuous stream, together with the partial body. In the complete play, it says, 'Of all the Buddhas'

Its profound view is that it does not go beyond the two, the expanse and awareness. As it is said in the Vajra Garland Tantra itself: The part of the body is inconceivable. In the lamp of the self-born expanse, the self-appearing light is inconceivable. In the lamp of the empty bindu, the radiant bindu is inconceivable. In the essence of the five wisdoms, the expressing words are inconceivable. In the appearance of the causeless realm, the unimpeded arising is inconceivable. Thus. The fourth, the way to practice, is twofold: taming with key points, and the experiential appearances that arise from that. The first also has two aspects: the general way of settling, and the specific way of taming. The first is, from Rangshar: In the sky of dharmata's self-appearance, awareness and wisdom are not distracted. If you settle in a state without grasping, you will see the self-appearance of pure wisdom. The confused appearances of ignorance will revert. Thus. On the banner of the undiminishing, the lamp of the unchanging is clear. On the wisdom without concepts, the five lights without clarity or dimness are clear. Thus. Precious jewel nectar, cannot be found by doing and meditating. On the appearance of the lamp expanse, without distraction, clearly contemplate without grasping. If you do not stray from the meaning in this way, it is the lamp of precious jewel nectar. If there is no abandoning or taking, it is the best of attainment. If there is no grasping, it is self-liberation. Thus. The second is, from Thalgyur: The key point of the body is the posture. Wisdom abides in its own way. Bindu is accomplished by gathering and stirring. Light is raised and gathered. The wind's key point is bound by connection. The work of entering is distinguished by the edge. The wind is exhausted by its transforming action. It is combined with the arrangement of confusion. The key point of awareness is releasing, gathering and entrusting to space. The key point of the expanse is gathering, combining attraction and the scattering and raising of the elements. The key point of appearance is increasing and decreasing. Various things are liberated in their own place. Thus. Also, when seeing the body, one looks without changing the key point posture that makes it complete. At the time of the wisdom castle and so on, the posture of abiding does not change. If the bindu does not increase, then gather it in the center of the eyes and tame the light channels. If the light rises, then entrust it to the eyebrows. If thoughts scatter, then bind and shoot the wind. The key point of awareness is to release into space in the Vajra Garland Tantra. The key point of the expanse is in the center gathering and with the corner of the eye
