Within the lotus, with the complete form, the half-form also remains for a while. These, five by five, in pairs, are connected by the extremely clear bindu. Possessing the appearance of the father and mother deities, illusion is exhausted, and it is the pure land. Thus it is said. At these times, the previously shown sequence of measures and signs will appear. The appearance of the completion of wisdom in the expanse, the appearance of the purity of dharmata in rigpa, and the appearance of the maturation of bindus, from the body to the mandala, reach the peak of measurement. Again, one engages in the appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata. In the Transcendent View, it says: The appearance of the completion of wisdom and, from the appearance of the purity of dharmata, the three appearances are completed and turn into exhaustion. Thus it is said. At this time, the measure of body, speech, and mind, when the appearances of each are seen, the signs are completed as they mature within oneself, and the measures of exhaustion will all appear. Thus it is said. Having practiced in this way, those of superior diligence will take three years, those of intermediate diligence five years, and those of inferior diligence seven years, eleven months, and six days, to see the appearance of the exhaustion of dharmata, and thus be liberated into the light body. In that very text, it says: Here, according to the size of diligence, with days, months, and years, one will definitely accomplish at their respective times. Within the unchanging times, one will reach their respective measures. Thus it is said. This is the secret key to practice, of utmost importance. Third, determining the manner of the cycle of day and night has four aspects: In the evening, gather the senses to the essential point, thereby closing the door of mindfulness. At midnight, put the knowable into the vase, thereby making awareness clear on its own ground. At dawn, wisdom appears in clarity, thereby making all arising feelings return to their own place. During the day, cover appearances with illusion, thereby suppressing all signs. These have been said before, but here they are also spoken of as an aid to tögal, so if practiced concisely, there will be a slight difference from before. During the day, look at appearances with the gaze of an elephant, letting illusion cease on its own, thereby suppressing signs. At night, entrust awareness to the lamp of the empty bindu. When that bindu increases, the clarity of awareness also increases, and when it decreases, awareness becomes fainter, until finally, in a state of no object of focus, one rests in equipoise without intention, distraction, or gathering. Before going to sleep, focus the mind on the state of the empty bindu dissolving in the Brahma's cave, thereby recognizing the clear light of sleep, and at midnight, the light in the heart

By holding the mind in clarity while sleeping, dreams dissolve into luminosity, cutting off the stream of habitual patterns. Then, at dawn, with the posture of a lion, direct awareness towards a single white ཨ་(Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: A, Literal meaning: A) in the sky like a fully drawn bow. The meaning of clear emptiness, free from elaboration, arises from within, and one meditates on remaining in that state as much as possible. From the Sixth Sphere: 'Having afflicted the body's posture, project awareness into the expanse of the sky. Likewise, the eyes are in the intermediate space, with the posture of an elephant, placed in a vast state of unconsciousness. Thus, direct awareness towards the sky, without separating from this, whatever the yogi continuously meditates on, the appearance increases during the day. At night, in one's own dwelling, in order to measure the equality of the four times, having gathered the doors of the senses, the yogi endowed with yoga places the mind on the lamp of the empty bindu. When the bindu itself increases, awareness itself is also directed to increase. Likewise, when the bindu becomes small, the bindu becomes smaller and smaller, and awareness is placed smaller and smaller. By the key points of sleep and dreams, the habitual patterns of previous attachments are uprooted from the root. In this way, in all the times of the night, one endowed with the fortune of yoga practices. This causes appearances to naturally increase.' Thus it is said. Having practiced in this way in the cycle of day and night, mistaken appearances naturally cease and dissolve into luminosity, as it says: 'With body, place, and awareness, hold the measures of self-appearing purity. In this way, the measure of self-appearance is held, and the appearance of the delusion of the six realms ceases. At the time when that ceases, awareness will be balanced. In this way, when it is balanced, one's own body will also disappear, the body of flesh and blood produced by the elements, because the elements are purified in their own place. This is because it appears as a place, the body of mind grasped by delusion, because the elements are purified in their own place, so this also disappears, returning to its own place. The body of light grasped by awareness, like a mandala of water moons. At this time, one is close to the exhaustion of dharmata. Whichever one is accustomed to, one becomes a Buddha. Then, after the three bodies come to an end, one obtains the body of effortless perfection, at this time one is close to being separated from all the limits of the body. The yogi who is accustomed to the base, one's own place also becomes empty. The yogi who is accustomed to the path, the impurities of the gross elements also disappear.'
