Therefore, wanting to enter (this path) is an excellent opportunity. In order to dispel attachment to body, speech, and mind beforehand, one should begin practice beforehand. As the "Lamp Burning Sutra" says: "After distinguishing the boundary between samsara and nirvana, body and speech, etc., will naturally be subdued." Therefore, there are three points here, the first being that the practice of the body must be naturally subdued, and related to this: As the "Son of Buddha Sutra" says: "The body is running and lying down, standing and moving limbs, circumambulating and prostrating, rotating limbs and shaking the head, and all the actions that can be remembered, the transformation of dances and mudras, and all the actions of concentration. Whoever does this, the attachment to the body naturally dissolves, the body is completely distinguished, and this person will be transformed into an incarnation." Also, as the "Manifestation of Realization" says: "The body is walking and sitting, contracting and various illusion wheels, limbs extending and retracting, and the display of various actions and postures. Manifested with a mindful mind, the physical actions of the six realms of beings are received by the mind and performed by the body. Whoever can practice like this will eventually be cut off as thought. There are two necessities here, to be measured by the difference between common and supreme." That is to say, just doing this here will cause one to become a Buddha in the future. As the thirty-second chapter of the "Great Arrangement Sutra" says: "Whoever wants to distinguish the boundary, for the natural return of bodily actions, where one practices now, it will not be like that later, because that will reverse the body, there is no place to dwell, and the body will not enter into the three realms." Therefore, when the body is first formed, speech and mind both depend on it to form. Therefore, one must first perform the practice of the body. Through the practice of the body, the karma of the body will be exhausted later, and one will not like to do it, and there is a need to eliminate the sins of the body. As the "Wheel Nirvana Sutra" says: "Whoever distinguishes the boundary of the body, this person will eliminate the habits of samsara." Therefore, distinguishing the boundary of the body, if done for seven days, or eleven days, or half a month, then the attachment to the external body will naturally return, the internal body will become peaceful and gentle, and the secret illusory body will surely be liberated into luminosity. Then naturally

Having settled for three days, or eleven days, or seven days, the aggregates and so on increase, and the body is united with the nirmāṇakāya. As it is said in the *Golden Essence Tantra*: "Those who wish to settle down should slow down the actions of the body. This touches the body of the Buddha and is accomplished especially through secrecy." Second, the practice of distinguishing between good and bad speech: As it is said in the *Secret Practice Seed Tantra*: "Having passed that, the practice of speech begins. Mantras and meanings, the sound of the Dharma, existence and non-existence and appearance, various words of thought, various symbolic sounds of animals, various kinds of sounds, whoever does this, from the self-determination of the manifestation of speech, distinguishes between saṃsāra and nirvāṇa." And as it is said in the *Thal 'gyur*: "Thus, when the signs and measures are complete, the yogi begins the practice of speech. For the sake of the nature of understanding what is said, various kinds of sounds, whatever is said is irreversible, gods and nāgas and yakṣas and gandharvas, piśācas, and those who pervade, speak of the differences between good and bad sounds. In short, the sounds of the six realms, the thoughts of the mind are spoken by speech. Here, too, there are two necessities, the supreme and the common are distinguished at the end." Thus, relying on the different things that are said by speech, the cycle of the three realms is cut off. As it is said in the *Supreme Empowerment Tantra*: "Those who are fortunate speak the languages of the six realms, each according to its kind, cutting off the wheel of the six realms." As mentioned above, by exerting effort for only a few days, attachment to that disappears for those who are superior in effort, and for those who are ordinary, an unattached realization arises that there is no difference between that and all appearances. That is because the body is the basis and the mind is the fruit, and the connection between the two is speech, so the practice of speech is definitely in the middle. By speaking of the differences between one's own and others' sounds, the continuation of the connection of confused speech is cut off, and one will not enter into the birth that is spoken in speech, and there is a need for the liberation of the wheel of letters. As it is said in the *Stacking of Wheels*: "Whoever can distinguish between good and bad speech, the speech of saṃsāra is definitely empty." Third, the practice of the mind: As it is said in the *One Son of the Buddha Tantra*: "Also below that, the practice of the mind should be done, joy and non-
