Just as everything is completed and there will be no mistakes, having cut off the doubts of listening and contemplation, one practices the instructions in which one has deep faith. As an aid to this, the behavior like that of a wild animal, which is not the practice of everyone, is: the yogi also, out of shame of fearing to fall into samsara, dwells alone in the mountains where people do not go, and practices like a wild animal wandering alone out of shame of its wound. As an aid to this, the behavior like that of a mute is: cutting off speech, not speaking to anyone. Having done this, When memory becomes stiff, the behavior like that of a madman is: the actions of body, speech, and mind are without any control, and naturally arise like a madman. At this time, without cleanliness or filth, the behavior like that of a dog or pig naturally arises, enjoying food and clothing without any choice. When these six are perfected, one is not subdued by others, but instead subdues others, and the behavior like that of a lion arises, just as a lion has no fear or hesitation towards anything, this yogi also is free from the harm of all appearances, humans, and non-humans, and is able to have control over anything. If these behaviors are named, they are called the behaviors of mastering appearances. That is to say, one is able to transform the disbelief of others, able to revive the dead, able to accomplish siddhis, and the experience of the dharma burns like alcohol, free from any biased doubts, and able to have control over the four elements. Second, regarding its instructions, in the method of staring at appearances, whatever appears, by staring at the nature of mind on top of the appearance, just as snow falls on a hot stone, the appearance itself naturally dissolves on its own, that is to say, by training in the different fragmented things that appear to be born, appear to cease, appear to come and go, etc., attachment is liberated, and even though it appears, it is empty of truth, like an image, a moon in water, an echo of sound, an emanation, an illusion, a mirage, an optical illusion, and a dream, it is completely pure, and by training in the nature of the general phenomena of dharma, which is unborn, one realizes that it is peaceful from the beginning like the sky, as it says in the Sixth Space: In the nature of mind that has birth, the appearances of the six realms arise naturally, if one clings to different forms, the appearance will ripen into form.

For the mind that has cessation, impermanence arises as a cause, the appearance of no self-nature is perfected like a dream. For the mind that has elaboration, various appearances arise naturally, the appearances of the five senses individually are perfected from the ground of holding one's own place. For the mind that can be taught, sounds, words, and names arise naturally, terms and wisdom are naturally purified, the secret instructions of the lama are perfected. For the mind that can be seen, various arising conditions arise naturally, in the realm of appearance, it is perfected as unmixed and self-luminous. Thus it is said. Third, from this arises the thought of establishing the basis of existence and samsara: all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana, even without being learned, arise naturally in the mind, and there is no obstruction to anything. Again, from that itself: For the fearless mind, the appearance free from hope and fear, is called the thought of primordial abiding and confidence, Samantabhadra
