It says in that very text: With body, environment, and consciousness, hold the measures of pure self-appearance. When self-appearance is thus measured, the appearance of delusion in the six realms ceases. At the time when that ceases, consciousness is placed on the scale. When it is thus placed on the scale, one's own body also does not appear, because the body of flesh and blood born of the elements is pure in its own nature. This is because it appears as an object. The body of mind grasped by delusion, because the elements are purified in their own nature, this also does not appear, it vanishes into its own nature. The body of light grasped by consciousness is like a mandala of a reflection of the moon in water. At this time, the nature of reality is close to exhaustion. Whoever is accustomed to this becomes a Buddhafield. Then, after the three bodies are exhausted, one obtains the body of actionless perfection. At this time, one is close to being separated from all the limits of the body. The yogi who is accustomed to the ground will also make his own place empty. The yogi who is accustomed to the path will exhaust the impurities of the gross elements. Whoever is accustomed to the fruit will go to the irreversible ground with this. Thus it is said. Moreover, the difference between the light body and the meditative body is that the light body is the self-light of consciousness, without impurity, the object of the Buddha's eye, which sentient beings cannot see. The meditative divine body is born from the ripening habitual patterns, the extremely subtle particles of the four elements, which have the nature of change, and can be seen by sentient beings with divine eyes. This difference should be known. The third point is the extensive explanation of the wheel of the wisdom of the expanse of intention, which has three parts: a brief statement of the essence, an extensive explanation of the nature, and a collection of the meaning by aspects. The first is: In the Lion's Complete Power, it says: What are those five intentions? With the intention of the mountain king's general holding, one should avert with the view. With the intention of the general pouring of wisdom, one should hold with the earth. With the intention of the thigle piercing the expanse, one should examine the way appearances arise. With the intention of the equal distance of the sun and moon, one should push the meaning to the end. With the intention of the ocean piercing the expanse, one should send consciousness to the dharmadhatu. Thus it is said. The second has five parts. The first, the essence of the intention of the mountain king's general holding, is the nature of great perfection, clear light, the unchanging consciousness, the indivisibility of dharmadhatu and wisdom. When that is realized by the senses, when the dharmadhatu and wisdom appear as objects, the senses of beings have three grades: superior, middling, and inferior.

Thus, the four views, contemplations, conducts, and results appear as four, making twelve parts in total. In the Tsal Dzog it says: When the view of Riwo Chiyi arises, the view of Dzogchen is perfected. For the three faculties of superior, middling, and inferior, three kinds of views arise. For the superior faculty, the view in which the appearance of wisdom arises freely is: realizing one's own non-conceptual wisdom awareness as inseparable from the body. At that time, the contemplation is like the sun and stars appearing in a clear and unwavering ocean. The conduct is like the unobstructed, spontaneous conduct, like a banner waving in the sky. The result is seeing the unborn, self-arisen appearance. The view of the middling faculty is: merely realizing one's own awareness as unborn. The contemplation is like a banner rising in the ocean, free from the side of conceptual thought. The conduct is like an unrestrained, free madman, acting without hindrance on any appearance. The result is: overpowering the signs, possessing the contemplation of abiding in one's own state. The view of the inferior faculty is: realizing this appearance itself as like an illusion or emanation. The contemplation is: through recognizing one's own appearance, knowing that wisdom will arise in the bardo, like a lion cub separating from its mother's womb, seeing the obscured wisdom of the womb. The conduct is: possessing the conduct of grasping at samsara and nirvana. The result is: after abandoning the body, the breath goes forth into the realm of the self-nature emanation body. This is what was said. Secondly, the nature of the contemplation of the all-encompassing wisdom is: realizing that the power of awareness is primordially perfected. The ways in which the three faculties realize it are different. Again, in that same text it says: When the contemplation of the all-encompassing wisdom arises, again, the three faculties of superior, middling, and inferior persons have three different ways of viewing it. The superior faculty realizes it merely by the guru showing that the empowerment itself is the self-nature of the unborn result. The contemplation is: through the union of wisdom, expanding on the bindu, thereby remaining unwavering from the contemplation of great bliss and emptiness. The conduct is: acting with pure and stainless white and red bodhicitta. The result is: seeing the thusness of the ground of the lineage. The view of the middling faculty is: merely realizing that appearance has become the power of awareness. The contemplation is: clear and unscattered, like the sun and moon
