Thus, such appearance is immediate liberation; by placing it in the very place of immediacy, it is liberated in the place of placement, and vanishes in the place of liberation. The manner of liberation is: by training on a fragment of phenomena, it is immediately liberated in the fragment, without going anywhere, nor coming from anywhere, nor having anywhere to go. There is no change from abiding anywhere. By training on the totality of phenomena, all appearances become immediately liberated. The example is: like an impartial person going to a temple, there is no visible image. Fourth, relying on the key point of liberation from extremes, being free from dependence, the key point of not clinging to any dependence is: because it is liberated from the extreme of one, it does not abide in two, and because it is liberated from two, it does not abide in one either. Likewise, both and neither, and so on. An extreme is the extreme of existence—appearance, and the extreme of non-existence—non-appearance, and the cessation of the four extremes of both and neither is termed liberation. Liberation from extremes, being free from dependence, has three aspects: the understanding of liberation from extremes, the validity of establishing liberation from extremes, and the manner of liberation. The understanding of liberation from extremes is: not clinging to dependence on any extreme of existence and non-existence, appearance and emptiness. In essence, it transcends the calculation of this is and this is not. The validity of establishing liberation from extremes has three aspects: reasoning, scripture, and proof. Reasoning is: it is valid by the reasoning of self-nature free from dependence, because it does not depend on anything, it is free from extremes, and does not abide in any extreme. Therefore, it is called the view of non-abiding in the middle, free from extremes. Validity by scripture is: from the scripture of great power and perfect qualities, it is said that liberation is being free from extremes. Proof is: it is valid by the proof of knowing one and liberating all, knowing one to be free from extremes, thus being liberated from all appearances and attachments, because there is no clinging to any dependence. The manner of liberation is: not abiding in the extreme of existence, therefore liberated from the extreme of non-existence, not abiding in the extreme of non-existence, therefore the extreme of existence is liberated, not abiding in both existence and non-existence, therefore both are liberated, not neither, therefore neither is liberated. Fifth, relying on the key point of one liberation being unparalleled, the complete demonstration of means and wisdom is: one is the Great Perfection, the single bindu, the very nature free from elaboration.

That. Liberation within that means that all the limits of numerous quantities are emptiness. There are four key points regarding the unique liberation of oneness: the meaning of one liberation, the reason for establishing it as one liberation, the manner of liberation, and examples. The meaning of one liberation is: one liberation is not unreasonable, because from one to one liberation, there is nothing that is not realized. Therefore, awareness from the beginning transcends the terms of liberation and non-liberation. There are three reasons for establishing it as one liberation: reason, scripture, and logic. It is established by reason that: all liberations are not different, because there is nothing other than one, so it is called liberation, and that one is awareness itself. Moreover, because there is no other dharma that is not self-aware. It is established by scripture that: from the Essence of Gold, it says, "The nature of the liberation of oneness, is because the many are of one taste." It is established by logic that: it is established by knowing one, all are liberated, because by knowing one awareness, one can liberate all of samsara and nirvana. The manner of liberation is: by recognizing the nature of reality, all appearances and awareness are liberated. The example is: because knowing the many are of one taste, once the taste of one salt is determined, the taste of all salts can be determined, or like knowing one sugar and one fire, one can know all. As it says in the Commentary on the Bodhicitta, "The nature of fire is heat, the nature of sugar is sweetness, likewise, the nature of all dharmas, is one in emptiness." Like this. These five manners of liberation are not considered for one person, but according to the difference of faculties, whichever one is inclined to, one is liberated by that. Third, summarizing the five manners of liberation, it is shown by five ways: that is to say, the five manners of liberation here are without reliance, because it is self-liberation, so it is free from the reliance on the object of view, meditation, and the dharma of action. Conditions are liberated by conditions, for example, like washing dirt with dirt, bad conditions are liberated by bad conditions, thereby appearing as a helper of wisdom, originally pure is liberated by originally pure, and awareness is liberated by awareness. Primordial liberation is free from the reliance on the union of grasping and the grasped, therefore objects are liberated by objects, just like destroying all poisons with poison. Immediate liberation does not rely on samsara and nirvana, therefore causes are liberated by causes, for example, like cutting iron with iron. Edge
